This is the one.
This is a nice lightweight beard oil. The scent, if that's what you could even call it, is so mild and only barely detectable right after you oil your 'stache. If someone's lovey can smell this after 10 minutes, she's might be part bloodhound. Perfect when you don't want to use your oil as a primary scent, such as with Bay Rum (I use GBS for that too). Any other scent, even a deodorant or your fabric softener scent will overtake this oil. I'm rocking the Full Richard Karns and this provided very little control or handling. It's better than plain water but just barely. On the good side, it does absorb fairly well so you're not transferring it from your face to your hands or your shirt all day. It works fine on a dry beard, but I use it right after a shower and towel dry, it seems like it does OK locking in the moisture in some way. Really more of a conditioning product, it very much excels at that as my beard has been noted as notably softer and that's never a bad thing. My method if you're interested: After the towel dry, do a basic shaping or trim first. I don't imagine a little oil would hurt clipper blades, but I don't want to gum them up either. Measure the oil by drops at first, see how it looks and feels in your beard at each amount. You'll quickly figure out it will take about 1/4 to 1/2 dropper (or more, or less) to dispense rather than by the drop. Dropper a nickel sized puddle into the palm, I rub both together to get oil on the fingertips to go into the moustache. Then rub both hands into the sides and goat part all the way down to the skin for a nice massage, working both from the front of the beard and then from beneath. It should look pretty wild and shiny by this time. Do whatever grooming you do (I use the basic wooden My Best Beard Classic) and your beard will look super nice. If I use just a bit of pressure, I feel like I'm really distributing the oil along the hairs whether it's true or not. Between the massage and the brush, your beard will be shining from the attention. It washes off easily with soap and water and not too much effort. It could be rubbed into the skin, with no problem I guess, but your hands would be oily for a while. The taste is as mild as the scent and apparently not toxic so don't be afraid to work the whole 'stache, Also, it's great for fast grooming when you're in a hurry or just want to do the minimum. Literally from dropper to brush finish you can have some basic beard care in 30 seconds. This will be my go-to default oil from here on. I tried with the small bottle, knew within days that I'd better get a bigger one. A bottle goes far, but this is a 5x per week product for sure.

Beard
It softens and hydrates skin with no smell or residue. Quality product at a fair price

Works fine.
They make decent products. This bottle comes without a scent. It's more or less my everyday work oil. You get a big bottle for what the others charge for a small 1 oz bottle. It's average for what a beard oil is intended for.

UNSCENTED Beard Oil
This is a great deal for 4oz of quality beard oil, plus the bottle has a nice dispenser. The Viking Blend is unscented; some reviewers need to read the description prior to ordering. I personally wanted unscented oil to use whatever scented balm I wanted, and not have any scent mixing. Overall, oil is lightweight, not too greasy if applied right, and a great price.

I liked by one ounce bottle so much I went all ...
Well, I liked by one ounce bottle so much I went all in. For the money and quality, this one can't be beat. You will appreciate being able to wear your favorite cologne or not smell like leather and cigars or lavender or other myriad of odd scents makers think you want to wear on your face all day. This does an excellent job of keeping your underlying skin in good shape even in the harsh conditions of the pacific northwest and I am outside all day. Beardruff is gone, no itch and a nice soft beard, what more could a guy and his significant other want? She may just decide she doesn't want you to shave it after all if you use this.

No scent
My wife has bought me the sampler packs several times, the scents are amazing. I bought a 4oz bottle and the oil works great but there is no scent what so ever. Thinking I may have just got a bad one, I purchased another 4oz bottle with a different scent. Same issue. Neither my wife or I can detect any scent at all. Like I said, the product works well overall, but two large bottles have no scent!!!

Hands down the BEST!!!
This GBS Viking Scent is AMAZING. The scent is very pleasant and not overwhelming. A little really does go a long way. My beard is roughly an inch long, and for me around 10 drops is perfect for me. After applying my beard is noticeably softer and easier to tame, and the skin underneath is noticeably softer as well. Since using GBS I haven’t had any trouble with beardruff or itching. I’ve used other scents, as well as other oil brands, and I’ve found GBS Viking to be my favorite, hands down. The scent is pleasant but doesn’t overpower, which allows you to use your favorite cologne without smelling obnoxious. I will continue to use GBS products for as long as the company is around! Thank you GBS, you’ve made it so easy to enjoy having a manly beard!!!

Great base oil, and for overnight moisturizing.
Great product, just like everything else they make. This is a great base oil that doesn't interfere with other scents. You can use this oil, and top it off with any scent butter or balm without your overall scent being overpowering.
