Would have been a great little addition to our tank. It was good quality and shape, just smaller than expected and my cichlids couldn’t use it. It did also come with a piece broken but they refunded with no problem. I would have just exchanged if it were bigger.

I was searching for the perfect leopard gecko hide and bingo, this one is it. Not too big or small and has an open bottom so it can be placed over a heat mat/pad if needed. (I have placed this hide over a 7watt non-adhesive heat pad that is between the reptile carpet and glass) My leo loves to go in to digest his dinner each night. The only thing to be cautious of is during the plastic molding process the exposed edges are rather sharp, however this is easy to fix by filing until smooth. (I hate it when people give bad reviews for a product when there are simple fixes available). I highly recommend this hide for ease of use, cleaning and durability.

I would have given it a 5 star if it wasn’t for some sharp edges inside. I had to trim them before placing it inside the tank. If you don’t, they can seriously harm your pet’s skin. But since I’m not a nagger but a fixer, I preferred to keep it and spend some time with it. Overall a very nice wet hide, spacious enough, keeping enough moisture for our Leo.

Very sharp inside edges. I tried to sand them down and it put a hole in it. Cheaply made, not the best for a snake. Smaller than I expected as well. I cut myself on it. Not sure how safe it would be for little animals..
