Stop the whining people!
I've read the horrors of other reviews and was hesitant to purchase, but that orange tool was/is a much-needed addition for my VacuMaid Pro kit. Yes, it is requiring the use of the included adaptor, after seeing it I understand probably why... The 2 tools included appear to be engineered for maximum suction at inlet, the wider adaptor allows for this, and it works terrific. YES, OMG, you need to take 7-12 seconds to unscrew (reverse threaded) adaptor from hose. There is no swivel adaptor, boo-hoo. So what! turn your wrist! I would image most people are adding this to a nice VacuMaid set-up, it is a really nice powerful addition. Common Sense people don't dig metal attachments into leather or plastic, of course it may mark it up, use the right tool attachment for the job! Enjoy your time vacuuming, some would say its therapeutic. This product is great and works well. The price is what it is. About the same as a couple of supersized McDonalds meals!

Not Sure What Vacumaid was thinking with this one
I have the Vacumaid Pro. It came with a set of tools. The tool kit includes an adapter that threads onto the hose. In-turn, this adapter allowed the accessories to friction-fit on to the adapter (not the hose itself). That works great. The Care Care tools did not fit the adapter that came with the Vacumaid. Instead, they included a different adapter (different diameter friction-fit) that would also thread onto the original hose. That is fine, if you just want to use the Car Kit tools. But if you plan to use both sets, you will need to un-thread and thread the two adapters to switch between the original tools and the Car Kit tools. Why the two different standards? - especially since the Car Kit will be used with the original Vacumaid. Defeats the purpose of friction-fit accessories. The Car Care adapter is physically smaller and more convenient for tight spaces, but I really have not found any area in my cars that the original won't get to. In addition, the crevice tool was no better than the original. It's too wide to fit between the seat and the door, for example. Some have noted that the metal crevice tool might scratch seats and instruments. Mine was smooth and I'm not as concerned as many. Still, plastic would be better and I'm not sure why metal is needed. Seems it would save money as well. The only advantage to the Car Kit was the orange accessory - but it won't fit on the original adapter. Vacumaid should standardize on a diameter for their tools. Having to thread two different adapters every time I want to switch tools is a pain that I don't want to endure. I ended up sending the Car Kit back. BTW: Vacumaid sells a plastic Flexible Crevice Tool that works great and fits the original Vacuum hose.

No swivel adapter included with this kit
These vacuum ends are very durable and heavy duty. My issue with them is that there is no swivel fitting to allow the hose to rotate while vacuuming. I bought the VacuMaid Pro 50 and the adapters that came with it is more than adequate to vacuum vehicles that includes a swivel end. I just recently purchased these so maybe I will find a need for them but right now I don't forsee ever using them. As far as the seller they did a great job on getting them to me in a timely manner. Bottom line, I should've waited on purchasing these adapters, what came with the vacuum will suit my needs just fine.

Terrible Design
Will not work with the adaptors that come with the vacuum. To use these you need to first remove the original adapters to swap them. One would think for what looks like a 3d printed product the design could be adapted so you can use all the adapters without having to disassemble the entire hose adapter. Disappointed.

Some pros some cons
This purchase solved my need to eliminate the need for the long metal sleeve of the Vacumaid shop vac. I felt it was a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but I needed the black threaded sleeve. The large orange tool is great quality, but a bit cumbersome for small spaces. The crevice tool is metal which is great if you are looking for it last for years to come, BUT, it will scratch all surfaces other than carpeting so you either need to be careful, or use an old tool, or purchase a more forgiving plastic one. So now I have a metal one that I will probably never use.

Very sharp for automotive use
Was looking for something to replace the ridiculously long chrome handle on vac, this looked perfect! But, the edges are so sharp on the metal crevasse tool, Iām afraid to use it on anything leather or plastic.

Really not too smart
Why would you make it a different size? Really, was this inconvenience necessary? Should the sales page not clearly state, ā warning , this does not fit your hose which yOU aLSO PUrchased from us!ā

DON'T BUY THESE
The connection sleeve that fits on the hose has to be unscrewed and a new connector installed each time you switch from the original factory tools to these. A real pass in the A_S. And $40 for two plastic vacuum tools. They aren't worth $10.00
