This coat seems reasonable value for money. It is very lightweight and , so far, seems to be waterproof. Unfortunately, the size choice is based only on the length of the dog and although the length is correct, the body width is too large. The item description was for a shaped and tailored coat specifically for greyhound/lurcher types, but the neck hole is too big and the underside strap is far too long and almost misses the velcro patch on the side of the coat. It's as if the manufacturers have taken a normal large breed coat and done nothing more than trim away the sides to make it look hound-shaped. None the less, with a minor adjustment to the strap lenght it does fulfill its purpose, although I only feel comfortable using it on controlled walks. I think that for off-lead exercise, it would need to be a much better fit.

I never received my refund even though I paid for 2 coats one after the othere. the last one was xxx large but although you said that I had a refund it was the first refund I received. The belts on both coats were the same very short. My dog still fits in her old coat so I know she has not change that much. A coat that I purchased several years ago. I cannot find any way of letting you know apart from this review. Which I did not want to do. As there seems no othere way of letting you know your mistake. Thanking you for your attention.

Absolutely beautiful coat and fits my Galgo perfectly. He is very slim around the waist but the wide waist band helps it to fit him snuggly and doesn't get in the way when he's having a tinkle. Very very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this for our newly adopted Greyhound as he needed something lightweight and waterproof for the coming months. We used it today in a light drizzle. The coat is 100% not waterproof and not fit for purpose. The description is deceptive and needs to be changed. It's not even water resistant!My poor boy was sodden, and as a result, bloody cold. The seller should be ashamed of themselves, these products are for animals, bought by their owners with their pets best interests at heart.

Works very well on my Lurcher-cross, easy to put on and light but warm. My only crit is that the stitching on the little aperture for the collar ring soon frays and needs reinforcing.Otherwise good.

My dog is not a greyhound, but I couldn't find a coat long enough to fit him. This is warm and cosy. It doesn't look like it's waterproof, but he is never wet after a walk. If your dog is long and lean this would suit them. The only thing that I don't like is that with only a belly strap, it moves to one side and needs adjusting sometimes. Some loose rear leg straps would be a good addition.

The waistband is tiny, would only fit slim long dogs. Lurchers, not a hope in hells chance. Tried a couple of sizes but appears waistband is the same for all sizes. Had to send them back.
