Just like the fragrant roses in my garden
I love rose absolute, it's my favorite smell, and brands vary a lot. This one is excellent. It smells exactly like the very fragrant roses that I've chosen to grow in my garden - and that's just what I'm looking for. Rose absolute is expensive by nature, because of the labor required to extract it from Rose petals. It takes only a 2 drops to scent a 10ml bottle of jojoba cuticle oil, or to scent the amount of Camilla seed oil for my hair that I'll use in a whole year. I've also used maybe 10 drops to scent 5 gallons of my home grown rose petal potpourri, as long as it's well mixed in and has a few months to soak in. Some rose absolute has more of a rose geranium smell, which is OK but not my very favorite. This one sounds like I've buried my face in an old-fashioned bush rose. It might be because they use Rosa Damascena petals instead of another variety. It's the best I've found, and this 5 ml bottle will likely last me 5 years, for my own uses - I make some things to gift, but I don't sell. On that level, it's very economical. The picture is Rosa Collette, growing in my garden - this oil smells the most like that rose.

I cried when I smelled this
I bought this as a gift for my elderly mother. She's always loved aromatherapy but after joning doTerra she was pained their rose oil cost hundreds of dollars. I found Plant Therapy and bought her many oils, including the Rose Absolute and she fell in love with it. I tested each oil in my own diffuser for quality before her birthday and I'm not lying when I said I cried after smelling this. I haven't smelled something this beautiful. I thought to myself "if my mom dies without smelling this, I will regret it for the rest of my life". I IMMEDIATELY went to her place and gave her the gift because I NEEDED her to try it. She cried with happiness. She mixes it with fractionated coconut and other oils and made her own perfume. Her room always smells like roses now. We will never go back to any other company as long as PT exists and continues their high quality. I'm leaving 5 star reviews on all my PlantTherapy products. I've bought many different Amazon brands, I've bought from Scentsy and doTerra, and similar large businesses and nothing comes close to the value of Plant Therapy. These are pure undiluted essential oils JUST like doTerra but for a fraction of the price. Each batch is tested for Quality and Purity, similar to doTerra products, and the results of each test is displayed on their website. The standard is to do third-party lab tests to protect the integrity of the results, and this is what PT does. I feel much safer knowing that I'm inhaling real essential oils. Highly, highly recommend this company!!! Whether you buy from Amazon or from their site, the quality is consistent. I just buy from Amazon to use my prime benefits and for peace of mind.

Such an intoxicating scent.
I've been wanting to get my hands on a good quality rose oil and i've finally found it! Smells beautiful, like a true rose. I use this for making my own botanical perfume oil/botanical face serum. Very uplifting and promotes positivity.

Subtle rose scent. Was expecting it to be stronger.

Awful oil- not pure! Terrible smell and residue
This rose oil is absolutely NOT a pure oil! If you are ok with that fine, but I’m not. First, the smell of the oil is AWFUL! Smells spoiled, soured and with a very strong chemical scent, not even close to rose. Second, the oil has a very oily residue- and it shouldn’t. It is an oil but essential oils are NOT oily. This is definitely mixed with something and it’s not good! I’ve only ever used Young Living oils and NEVER have I experienced an oily residue from ANY of their oils. I wanted to try plant therapy rose oil to compare it to YL and bc YL rose oil is SUPER expensive. I like to make beauty and household products with EOs and thought I could save money on rose oil by trying Plant Therapy since it has had good reviews. I was clearly wrong! I’ve not tried any other Plant Therapy oils before now so I can’t give a bad review to the company as a whole but I definitely know this rose oil is terrible! I could maybe look past the oily residue- maybe- if it at least smelled lovely, like rose - but it doesn’t! Maybe I got a bad batch.... but then that means quality control is not up to standards either.

Like scents? Me too ... BUT here is essential information.
The Hidden Risks of Using Essential Oils in Misting Humidifiers 1. Significant Increase in Airborne Particulates: When you use essential oils in a misting humidifier, it dramatically raises the particulate count in the air. This particulate count isn't just a minor increase—it's a major one. 2. Impact on Gas Stove Flames: A clear indicator of this problem using the stove. The typical behavior of a gas stove's flame is blue. However, using essential oils in a misting humidifier, the suspended oil particles in the air can cause the flame to burn orange. The orange color is a sign the air is contaminated, OR the air/fuel mixture for the stove is compromised by lack of oxygen. There are many different elements that, when burned with natural gas, can change the color of the flame. 3. Effect on Allergen Filters: Allergen filters, designed to purify the air, struggle with these oil particles. They clog much faster than they should, indicating how dense the particulate matter is. 4. Clogging of Furnace Air Filters: The furnace fan runs 24/7 to circulate air and maintain temperature balance in my home. Using a high-quality Filtrete air filter (MERV 11 rated), the furnace did not heat the house when the filter clogged. This clogging can trigger the furnace's safety mechanisms, preventing ignition to protect both the system and the occupants. In a personal observation, a new furnace air filter became clogged within five days due to the oils in the air. 5. A decline in Air Purifier Efficiency: A LEVOIT Whole House Air Purifier, usually indicating 85-98% air purity (with eight cats in the house), showed a significant drop in performance. The purity levels fell to 30-50% using essential oils in the misting humidifier. Want scents? Get a spray can of your favorite scent. 6. Recovery After Removing Essential Oils: There was a noticeable improvement about 12 hours after the essential oil pad was removed from the humidifier. The air purifier's readings bounced back to 80-95% purity, and the gas stove no longer burned with an orange tint.
