Just right for me
I like these gloves. I get at least a pair or two every year. Riding between 5000-7000mi annual, on- and off-road, they are my go-to. Grippy even when it's wet and enough padding to dampen some road vibration. Inexpensive and I've never expected more than a season or two with the amount of miles they get. Happy with the quality and fit.

Satisfied.
Gloves are comfortable. Bought two pair; Red and White. I plan on alternating use as to give them both even wear. Ride with them unfastened. Comfortable. No numbness as of yet. Comfy. Stylish. Solid purchase.

Sizing suggestions - Spring 2017
Pretty happy overall; I think everyone else has already commented extensively on the quality. I do feel these are well-made, though I will update if they start fraying or coming apart. My main purpose here is to comment on sizing. I followed most peoples' advice on here, that the sizing runs a bit small, and ordered a size L. I am 5'8", 160 lbs...about a medium in most brands of clothing targeted to U.S. people. Not a big guy, not a tiny guy, just kinda average or a tad under. I also checked out Giro's sizing guide on their site. They have a pdf of their glove sizes overlain atop one another, with dimensions for each with coin sizes to make sure you're viewing it at the proper zoom level. That guide led me to believe I was a M. I chose to purchase a size L instead since I trust comments a bit more than sizing guides--I don't blame Giro--it's an industry problem. Anyway, the L gloves fit almost right but left just a little too much slack and "scrunched" up too much when flexing my hands in one direction or the other. I reordered a pair of M-sized gloves, and they were about what I was expecting. Not too tight, not too loose. If anything, they are a tad snug but that is the way I expect something designed for vigorous activity should be; it will "break in" and loosen up a little with use. I don't know if they re-adjusted their sizing guide or templates sent to the manufacturers (Made in Vietnam, btw), but I would recommend trusting the sizing guide on their company website. They are a U.S.-based company. I just wish the clothing/sporting good industry could agree on sizing and set some sort of standard. Seems with Giro, their sizing guides are pretty accurate. Again, I'll update if I find quality sucks after some standard use... Update: after 2 hour-long bike rides and some moderate weight lifting (30 lb dumbell curls and pushups using bars--nothing overkill), the stitching on one of the fingers has begun to unravel. Fortunately I caught it pretty quick and just tied the two exposed threads together, but I have a feeling I'll be performing more maintenance in the near future. For this reason, I'm downgrading my 5-star rating to 4 stars. I do love the gloves otherwise.

Good fit; wears out fast
***Update 2*** Giro sent me a replacement. They are are a newer version that have pockets on two fingers of each glove allowing you to pull them off your hands more easily. Aside from that, they are very similar. If these last at least another 500 miles, I'd call the original purchase a good value, so I'm bumping from 3 to 4 stars. While Giro wasn't the fastest at responding, I am impressed with the service they provided. I acutally lost a helmet cusion on a ride, and they sent me a replacement for that too - no questions asked. They didn't have to do that, so just from a CS perspective, I'm happy to buy from them again, and adding another star to make 5. I totally wasn't expecting their CS to be so good - when companies get bigger (Giro is a part of Vista Outdoor, which owns Giro, Bell, Camelbak as well as a number of other non directly bike related brands), the quality of their customer service tends to be the first to go. Not the case here. ***Update*** Giro responded and asked for my address to ship replacement. I replied and will update when I have more info. They said they take 5-10 business days to reply due to volume. Note they don’t have an automated initial response (most companies will let you know they revived your email and will reply soon), so if you email them, don’t expect to hear anything back for up to two weeks. —- Before the threading came undone, they were very comfortable and worked well. I measured my hands and chose the size based on the size guide on the Giro website, and they fit just right. Without these gloves, one of my hands would start to go numb after about 10 miles - wearing the gloves really helped with this. The red color definitely faded in the wash, but that didn’t bother me as I was more concerned about function; so when the seam came undone (see pictures) I was really disappointed. I first used these in June, so have been using them for about 2 months. I just checked Strava and they lasted just under 500 miles before I noticed the threading coming apart. I emailed Giro a few days ago and have not received a response yet. If I do I’ll update this review.

Very, very nice gloves at an excellent price.
This is Giro middle line glove. The Jag is the base value and the Monaco is their top line glove. The padding is just (maybe) a bit less than that of the Monaco and the glove's palm surface is a suede material compared to the Monaco's Pittard's leather. This glove is not tacky so the glove will slide along the bar. This is a plus in my opinion because gloves that do have this property tend to give my fingers a wedgie when I pull on the brake levers. I believe that gloves that have a tacky property are more important to off road riders and I'm strictly a roadie. I do not hesitate to give these gloves a positive recommendation but if you shop arround on Amazon, you can get the Monaco glove for nearly the same price though the Monaco line does not have the same range of colors as the Bravo line has. I have standardized on Giro gloves based on my experience with a pair of Giro's that I've used for the last 6 years. They are still fully functional with no failures of the stitching.

The padding is enough to be comfortable and give great feel. I was at the top of the L size range and they are nice and snug. They seemed a bit tight getting on the first few times but were then fine after a few wears. The finger pulls are great to get them off. I have now ordered the same gloves in the long finger version as well as I was happy with the fit. Also not too pricey for brand name gloves
