5 stars because of the price
I have a couple Apple Magic Mice paired to my other computers. I really like them for their aesthetic style and their high quality build materials. However, they cost $69 apiece which seems rather spendy to me.I just bought a Macbook Pro laptop and wanted a less expensive alternative. Discovering this Bornd bluetooth model on Amazon, I decided to give it a go.Now in my possession, its a very nice looking mouse (I got the blue), compact and very light. It's about 3 3/4" long which is smallish but fits my hand adequately. It connected with no problem to my laptop and so far no problems. While this mouse's construction of all plastic seems much cheaper than the Magic Mouse (duh!), it also does all I need it to do for $50 cheaper. For that reason I would say it is a great choice for anyone on a budget. No wires or receivers to plug in, this makes for a pleasant, less jumbled computer experience. Will update this review if it conks out before its time but keeping my fingers crossed.<<<The Update>>>This mouse has exceeded my expectations. Haven't had to change the battery since I first bought it. It's working exceptionally well.I have noticed with my Apple Magic Mice, that for some programs, it makes them behave erratically. For Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, my local digital newspaper etc., the program's screens occasionally and erratically, willy nilly jump out of control. I bought an additional Bornd mouse to use for my main computer, and using that for these programs has totally solved the problem. Now I have for my main computer, a Apple Magic Mouse and a very inexpensive Bornd, both paired by Bluetooth. I am very happy that such an inexpensive solution exists.

Works way better than expected, but mouse button will double-click after 3-6 months, though. Not fixable.
Okay, let's get some things straight.- This is made in China. Not like other things, that are made by American companies selling cheap things. This has HIGH production quality, and I would have thought the packaging was designed by Apple (legitimately). Chinese companies are stepping up.- It's SLIGHTLY bigger than most compact mouses (mice?). Feels great under my hand, easy to turn off, and the battery has lasted through now (a month so far) without trouble.-The first CON I listed here is a very important one -- after two of these mice, they only seem to last 3-6 months of light use. The main mouse button starts to 'double click' on a single click, at random. The mouse becomes unusable. I will be getting a more well-known brand mouse, this time around.Pros:-Works great with my modern (2013) Asus Ultrabook (i5, SSD). It responds as quickly as a USB mouse.-Nice ergonomic design. Crisp button pushing.-Easy enough to pair (Windows 8.1 -- no issues). Forward, it basically connects whenever I just turn the mouse 'On', and pretty quickly.-Very precise, and responsive. Hold the middle (scroll) button and other buttons for like 5 seconds to switch from 1000 and 1750 DPI (there's no indication -- you just have to move the mouse around and see if it moves more quickly or slowly)-Comes with a good battery (surprisingly), and I have had to change the battery 0 times on either of the two of these that I've owned, which is about 3 months and 6 months respectively.Cons:-After two mice, the 3-6 month window seems to be the sweet spot for the primary mouse button to start malfunctioning. It makes every single click just start to 'double-click' or sometimes 'click and hold'. It comes and goes, but gets worse with time. I'm going to be getting a more reputable mouse, this time around.-On SLOWER machines, bluetooth 3.0 is not appropriate for mice. An ASUS Transformer T200 (Windows 8.1 tablet) can NOT USE THIS DEVICE. The lag between moving the mouse, and the movement of the cursor is SEVERE. Do NOT USE THIS MOUSE WITH A WINDOWS TABLET. You need a reasonable motherboard and bluetooth chip for it to work well. I had bought a second one for the tablet, and was disappointed about that. Perhaps Bluetooth 4.0 would work better. Who knows.-Once in a while, Bluetooth needs to be turned on, then off, on the computer, and then I turn the mouse off, then on. It's rare, but it happens.-Black costs more than Blue (as of my purchases). Why?!

Handy for travel
Handy travel accessory for my laptop.I was having trouble using two fingers on the mouse pad below the keyboard for scrolling. Too many false clicks. This small mouse is quicker and more accurate and works on many surfaces, does not need a dedicated mouse pad. Comfortable fit for my smaller hands. My only minor con is the tiny battery on/off switch, I need to use a finger nail to move it.

Works, usually, left button has gotten flaky
This mouse works quite well, but I some times have trouble getting my tablet to "see" it. Usually turning the mouse off and back on cures the problem but I have had to delete and re-add it on a couple of occasions. Once it connects, it works as advertised and allows finer control on my tablet than using my fingers or a stylus.Update: As I use this mouse more, I find that the left click seems problematic. Some times I get no clicks when I click the button, other times I get multiple clicks (two or more). It is getting rather frustrating.Update 10/30: The left buttons keeps getting worse! Now it is almost unusable. Either I don't get a click, or I get multiple clicks, hardly ever get just the one click that I need. Going to contact vendor and see about a replacement, it really has become almost worthless at this point.
