Works really well!
Worked realy well for me. Total setup time including mounting on garage ceiling and adjusting laser to hit the car dashboard took about 15 minutes. Perfect parking every time. I have a fridge in the garage and if I park too close inside, the fridge door cannot be opened all the way. If I park too far behind the garage door can hit the car and scratch the bumper (done that, been there and I had to touch up paint and buff which is a royal pain). Not sure why some people complain about the quality and sturdiness, I really don't see a problem. It's built just right. I don't plan to hit it with a hammer or shoot it to see how tough it is.

Easy to install, works great, cooler than a ping-pong ball on a string
Amazon lists a bunch of identical products under different brands. That's what you get from Made In China, I guess. I didn't pick this brand solely at random, but I get the feeling that one brand is as good as another. The device arrived in good shape, with all of its parts in factory packaging, and with clear installation instructions. Installation was a snap. It might have taken me 30 minutes, and a large portion of that time was spent searching my house for a battery. Aiming the device for both cars was easy: I just aimed at a spot where the windshield meets the dashboard, exactly between the defroster vents. Many people write reviews the day or the week after they receive something. Not me. I wanted to wait six months from installation, to see if the thing was still working. Good news - it is. It simply works, with no fanfare, nothing but a couple glowing red spots on the windshields. I've readjusted the beams once, and it was ridiculously simple. In my previous residence, I used two orange ping-pong balls, suspended from the ceiling on fluorescent pink strings, as parking guides. This looks much cooler. Space-age. Twenty-first century.

Easy way to get to the right place in your garage
This installed easily. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that the angle you can point the two independent light heads is a bit limited. It barely gets to the car dash on both sides of the garage, and that with some fiddling and finally creating a 45 degree tilted mounting block. Flat on the ceiling did not yield a spread of the beams that reached both cars.Works great for parking accurately. Kind of fun watching the red dot come to the spot you have chosen and knowing that your lift gate will still operate without hitting the garage door.

Great item
The lasers work fine. Good angles for adjusting each of the individual laser beams. Easy installation. Good sensitivity to motion for the lasers to switch on. Good range for the motion detection.

Product works well as expected!
I received this item yesterday and installed it this morning. Installation was a breeze and having Two cars was able to direct the laser to a point in both cars. This product is very good for distance in front and behind the cars but not really side distance unless reversing and pulling in to directly locate the laser dot in the spot specified.Sad Note,,,, After removing the packaging i found that ONE screw AND TWO plastic sheetrock inserts were missing. The Box was sealed so i am assuming factory packaging is at fault????

Great little laser
I love this little laser. To try it out, I just set it on a stud in my garage. I pointed the laser across the garage so that I can back in until I see the laser beam on the opposite garage wall. The other beam just happened to point to the floor at a spot that I now use to guide me into the garage in in the dark. Setup took 5 minutes. The 30 second timeout is not a problem.

it works but just barely
it works, but just barely. What does that mean? The design needs to be updated to have the ball swivels on the outside edge of the plastic housing and slightly canted outward. This product is an example of something that was designed by some one who never used it and never will. If they did make a prototype and used it they would see the design is flawed. This leaves room for a competitor to come in with a well designed housing and smoke this company. My garage roof is 10 ft high. I mounted this in the center and the lasers only just barely swivel out far enough to reach the center of the dash on each car, I mean that, just barely. If my garage roof was 8 ft I would ether have to return this or use it for a single car, not two cars.I need it for my long bed double cab truck, my wife don't need it for her car.SO EASY to fix if the swivels were placed on the outer edge and canted slightly outward. If that was done the lasers could swivel from straight down to 90 degrees outward and there would never be an issue pointing them in the proper spot on the dash.See? just like I said, designed by an inexperienced person who had no clue how it "should" be made. So, if you have a garage with an 8 ft roof this unit will probably not work for 2 cars.I can not report on longevity, but as of now it is doing the job but with the issues described above. If you buy it, keep the above information in mind. How can the company who makes this fix this design, make the lasers on a swivel at the end of the short post they are mounted on. This would be a double swivel and thus gain the extra adjustment outward that is needed. The main housing could remain the same and only the swivel post design would change. There you go Fosmon, I just acted as product designer for you and suggested a fix that can save this product. No charge.
