After buying my house last year and working from home in the basement for 9 months it was time to replace the outdoor lantern light fixtures seen behind me on every video call. Wanted some thing plain and simple. I looked at sconces from Home Depot and Lowes but all I found was fancy, ornate and more lanterns. Amazon to the rescue. These sconces are solid plaster so they are not light plasticy. They seem like they will accept paint very well. There isn't much to these and the only negative thing I can say about them is how they secure to the mounting plate that is mounted to the electrical box. On the top and bottom there is a hole that you put a clear plastic screw in to secure it to the mounting plate. On one of my sconces the hole didn't line up on the bottom. No big deal because it's sitting flush and one screw should be fine. I would have preferred that the screws used to secure the sconce are only visible from the top however after looking at them for a day I don't notice the mounting screw holes. The wiring is as expected and straight forward. The bulbs look fine but I'm not sure they'll really last the 30,000 hours that the box claims.

Very nice warmer LED light softly illuminates the wall and surrounding area. There are LED bulb options for meeting your warm-cool LED bulb preferences. We installed a dimmer switch, which gives us many lighting-level options. The shape works well within a wide variety of interior styles. This sconce is easily broken or chipped, including within the screw holes, so utmost installation care is needed. We purchased a 2nd set for another area.

Love these lights in every way. The light they put off is really nice. The up down effect looks awesome too. The fact that you can paint them the same as you wall is awesome...makes them very unobtrusive when not in use. Elegant in every way.

These sconces are really expensive looking. They are brighter than I expected - they lit up must steps just fine. Easy to install but are very delicate which doesn’t matter once they’re on the wall. I had a slight issue and emailed the company and they responded immediately. I was pleasantly surprised by these lights- I would buy them again.

Had to replace a light in the hall. We removed the old knob n tube in most of the house, and where the old light was located we would have had to cut several holes to get it to work with the 3 way switches that were being used. We decided adding something a little more aesthetically pleasing would not only make the hall look nicer, but would also be easier to get the new Romex to. I'm not impressed with the mounting hardware/plate that comes with these lights. If you're reading this and plan on installing to a single gangbox in a wall, make sure you put it in horizontally because holes will not line up vertically. That being said, drilling the plate isn't very hard and can easily be modified. I can't remember if it mentions this in the directions because 1) they weren't very detailed and 2) I didn't really read them. That being said, I was surprised at how bright these actually were. We have them on either side of the upstairs hall, with a stairway to oneside under one of the fixtures. I was a little concerned that we would need a second source of light but I think these two do a great job. Not to mention they look very nice on the wall. During the day when they aren't lit you can hardly tell they are there, and at night not only do the fixtures look nice, the way the light shines out the top and bottom creates a really cool effect. Not sure if we will need the white fixtures anywhere else in the house so I can't say I'd buy more, but I'm definitely happy with these

Bought these about 3 times and changed the entire look of my home. They give this soft sophisticated look that will add value to any home. Love these.

If you can install it safely, it looks nice. The bulb is small & compact and plenty bright. However, the actual sconce is held on by two screws (one top and one bottom) and the outer white case is a plaster-like material. The screw heads can quite easily grind right through it, even without much force. Out of two, one was installed easily and the other one turned into a nightmare of repairs and plastic washers.

I wallpapered my wall, wallpapered the front of these lights, and installed them in place of the ugly old sconces. Sorry the door is not yet trimmed, but these are spectacular. They are bright - I may buy some dimmable G9's and add a dimmer switch, but that's even better. I am going to buy more for the other wall. FYI, 66 yo female DIYer, not a pro. totally simple.

These wall lights are awesome. A great value for the money. They weren’t too bad to install, came with everything we needed to change out our old wall sconces. The light they give off is quite warm and nice. Much brighter than I imagined and really illuminates my hallway.

Very nice light. Installation relatively straightforward but slots in mount plate require the electrical box to be well installed (can’t adjust enough to account for misalignment of wall box), and the slots in the sconce for installing the plastic screws should be longer (towards the wall) to cater for minor wall imperfections.
