very well made
i love products that exceed your expectations, this filter did, very well made the mounting bracket is maybe 3/16" plate steel, it is robust and once lagged to wall, it will be easy to unscrew the filter as it is very solid.

Seems to work well enough
This system was already installed between the well and the house when I bought my home. The filter is always quite orange when I change it and I haven't had a build-up of rust or too much calcium on my kitchen or bathroom drains or inside appliances. I actually bought just the canister part of the system to make it easier to clean when I change the filter. Since I have to turn off the water to the whole house, I can't rinse the canister out during filter changes, so now I can just have a clean one ready to go with a clean filter then wash out the used canister after I make the swap and turn the water back on.
