Ever since I tried this coffee, its aroma has captivated me. I started by buying capsules, but now I use whole bean coffee. It's ideal for any preparation, but my favorite is espresso. It's frothy and strong, and with just a small sip, that full flavor lingers on your palate. It's Italian and wonderful. It's a must-have in my coffee corner. Kimbo brightens my mornings.

Let me just say that this seller actually sends beans that were roasted within the past 1-3 months. Unlike some sellers on Amazon that try to send you beans that were roasted a year and a half ago. For the beans themselves they have a wonderful aroma and flavor. They create a perfect crema. I highly recommend and will buy from this seller again.

Received a fresh bag on June 6. Beans have amazing aroma right out the bag -- I would call them medium dark roast. Pulled on Bezzera Strega lever machine, the flavors are fantastic if you love deep, rich, nuanced shots or cappuccinos: dark chocolate forever, with some herbal hints and some cinnamon mixed in. Crema is great. If you want to try classic Italian blend, this is great one to start with or live with.

A perfect coffee for espresso machine! I am NOT a barista but I love my espresso machine and this is my goto coffee for my morning espresso! Perfect crema with just a splash of half & half in the bottom of the cup!

Love kimbo when it's freshly brewed, but this last batch was awful. Could be stale because it was shipped without proper vacuum seal? Unfortunately, product can not be returned for any reason. My last purchase was perfect and sealed correctly. Buyer beware.

I am a regular consumer of espresso - usually 3-5 doubles a day. I went through two bags of this, and I generally liked it. To my taste, this is a strong flavored (verging on dark roast) and full bodied coffee. It produces very good amount of crema. Though I usually drink my espresso straight, this one tempted me to add a touch of cream. I think these beans are a little on the oily side as the ground coffee tended to stick to my grinder's bin. Price of this coffee is good, I think. The grinding issue is the main thing that prompted switching back to my usual brand.

I'd been searching for a brand of whole bean espresso for so long. Well my search is over. This espresso is so good and smooth. I could literally drink it all day. The only downside is it's completely ruined store bought lattes for me now. Whenever I'm forced to buy an espresso drink from a certain popular coffee house chain (that rhymes with shcmarbucks) it's so cdissappointing because it's so much worse than what I could make at home. I have to choke it down.

Reviewed Jan 2026: I always open any review of coffee that ise very subjective, as individual tastes are going to vary.. But, for my tastes, this is certainly on of my favorites, as its got a decent, strong taste that is not bitter. I have a list of preferred coffee beans, and I generally buy whatever is the best price point, and this is on that list, I wish it was on special more frequently. I use this to make expresso shots using a bean to cup machine, and then add hot milk. I did get some friends to buy me some when they drove to Italy this year, and the local prices are considerably better than Amazon, but we know the reasons why buying in the UK would be more. Definitely will buy again when the price allows.

Love this coffee! Grinds well in my Breville Smart Grinder, and taste is fantastic. This coffee has a smooth-creamy taste, and I find that I can drink it black / great as an espresso, whereas I usually put cream in my coffee.
