Easy and works perfect
Great and easy to use product. I refinish furniture and was wanting to start building my own base and to start out didn’t want to purchase a more expensive set and actually tried a cheaper off brand and it was garbage so I went with this one as still the cheaper option from kreg and it is worth it. No guessing, self explanatory easy to use. If you debate whether to try a cheaper knock off or pay $10 more and try this simpler version I recommend doing it . It’s a great easy tool to have

Good product
The Kreg KPHJ320 Pocket-Hole Jig 320 is a game-changer for anyone working in tight spaces. This small, durable jig allows you to create rock-solid joints quickly and easily. The adjustable drill guides make it simple to work with materials ranging from 1/2" to 1 1/2" thick. I was impressed by how well-made and sturdily built the jig is. It feels like it can handle anything you throw at it. The compact size is perfect for working in confined areas where larger jigs just won't fit. The adjustable drill guides are a fantastic feature that makes it easy to customize your joints to suit your project. I found them to be extremely accurate and precise, resulting in perfectly aligned holes every time. Overall, I highly recommend the Kreg KPHJ320 Pocket-Hole Jig 320 to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile tool for creating strong joints in tight spaces. It's a must-have for any DIY enthusiast or professional woodworker.

Very impressive and easy to use
For the money I think this can't be beat. I almost bought a k4 or k5 for much more cash but now I'm very glad I didn't. I think this is much more versatile as well as much cheaper. Here's a couple of things I learned right off the bat I'll share. 1) you must clamp the jig to your work piece. At first I tried a couple of spring clamps but it wasn't enough force so I used a large (about 6 or 8 inch) C clamp which was big enough to clamp the jig and the work piece and my bench together and provided plenty of holding power. 2) You must clamp the face of the pieces to be joined or they will want to shift/lift when screwed together. Again I was able to use my C clamp but what I found to be even better was to place the pieces on a level floor and stand on both at the same time. This worked great (better than the clamp) when joining 2x4 lumber. 3) BEFORE tightening any single joint, partially assemble all of the joints. I drove screws until they just caught the next piece, then once I checked square I went back around and tightened everything. Before cranking down each joint you can still square it up. 4) I'm already not a huge fan of the driver bit. I wish it was a torx bit, not square. But that aside, once the screw disappears you have to keep driving until it's done, as it can be difficult to match up the head a second time. 5) I'm concerned about the longevity of the drill bit and driver bit. The driver bits are cheap but the drill bit isn't, it's about 1/3rd the cost of the 320. So some early lessons and minor gripes but overall an excellent product. I suggest practicing on scrap before you do anything important! But really, I felt like after my third joint I was a pocket joint pro.

Versatile, Intuitive and Accruate. Great value.
Makes pocket holes simple. Bought to make some pocket holes for a DIY sofa build. This is very simple and accurate to use. Using the thickness gauge allows you to quickly adjust the slide stop on the jig so the holes are created at the right distance from the end of the wood. The thickness gauge also has the built in hex wrench to adjust the stop collar on the drill bit. This stop collar ensures you drill the holes to the correct depth. The clamp pad adapter allows you to quickly move the jig from once piece of wood to the next (clamp not included). I don't actually have a clamp that fits in the clamp pad adapter, but it should work fine with any bar clamp (I used Jorgenson ez hold bar clamps). The steps would look like this: 1. Measure wood thickness 2. Adjust slide stop to wood thickness setting 3. Adjust drill bit collar to same wood thickness setting 4. Place jig on wood and clamp down 5. Drill holes and then attach boards together and screw in screws (with included screws and square drill bit). The jig is also very configurable. The standard configuration with spacer in between works well for 2 x 4's. But, if you need to put the holes closer together you can remove the center spacer. Also, if you need to put the holes in the wood without the end stop/ slide spacer, you can easily pop off the ends of the jig and then clamp it to the wood. Or, if you just need a single jigs, you can use each on their own. The case is great to keep everything together. Happy drilling!

The KREG is not metric and the screws are special, not standard, with square opening for special tool. Absolutely unuseful and very expensive
