Works well for my small space. I have used a portable oil heater for last 12 years. Works great to warm up room comfortably.. This is my second one for my living room so I don’t need to move the one in my bedroom. I do not use my AC heat anymore….this is less expensive and does the job well. Does not overheat space but makes it comfortable. I even use it near my bathroom and it makes the space warm enough. Buy bigger model for bigger spaces. Good price. Good buy, So far so good. And it’s small enough to store in my closet during summer months.

This unit runs well and safely. If you have a cold room in your home, this is a great option. No noise, no worries. We use ours in a smaller bedroom - about 124 sq feet.

We live in far northern Minnesota, a bit south of Winnipeg, and yes, it gets extremely cold here. I grew up in Mississippi and spent my 20s-30s in Dallas (the 80s in Dallas-wow). While I have been up here since 1996, I'm still in awe of the cold! So, this fall I snagged two of these heaters, just in case! I've purchased other brands and liked them! So, I decided to try the Amazon Basics heaters and ordered two. Well, I got up Saturday, and the furnace wasn't working! We have in-floor heat in concrete floors, which is almost always rock solid. I immediately unboxed the two heaters and plugged them in. WhooHoo! There was warmth! So, I exhaled and texted a few people. One with common sense told me to check the filter. Yep, it was nasty! After a good cleaning, the furnace kicked in and the warming began! I've been pleased with how often they kicked on and off, to keep electricity consumption down. They also never blew the circuits or popped the extension cord. So, a big 5 Stars to these heaters. If in doubt, just go for it!

I purchased this in October of 2024 and wanted to wait until it got COLD before I left a review. This heater has wonderful output and heats most of my rooms on the lowest setting. Obviously, in rooms that are open, example, my living room and dining room are open concept, so it has to be on high which makes perfect sense. I have two things that keep this from being a 5-star item for me. They are the handle and the on/off light. The way the handle is positioned you need to put you fingers in the opening and your thumb on top to pull/push it where you want it. This causes you to put your thumb on the hot metal part of the unit. Also, the plastic handle part gets very warm and it uncomformable when trying to move it. To solve this and to allow us to move it when we want, I just keep an Ove glove nearby. Just wish I didn't have too. As for the on/off light it is so bright that in my bedroom it's glaring at me while I try to sleep. Solution, I put a piece of electrical tape over it. See red circle in photo.

Hey guys, it’s me Ms D Wanna I’ll let you know about the space heater that I got what a great product. I didn’t think it would work as good. I bought this product because I didn’t want to turn on my central heat because I’m remains mostly in one room and I was trying to figure a way to save my on my bills. Well, did you know the space heater did the job, heating bill went down.I’m happy, so let’s talk about it. The quality is so perfect. The noise level is quiet. The heating level level is great. The airflow is good and the safety on it is excellent.. and let’s not forget the price five stars for the price I recommended to all you guys that like to keep warm and have a small area. This will do the job.

EDIT: I bought this heater on December 2, it got delivered pretty quickly and it is now January 13th. I noticed the room that it was in was getting a little chilly. I have it set on the lowest power setting and the temperature dial is about halfway I have not made any other adjustments since I plugged the heater in and set it up and got it where I wanted it to be. But it appears that the heater has failed and no longer works. I have tried all the other temperature settings and power levels to no avail, good thing I saved the packaging because I will be returning the heater and buying something different END OF EDIT………I don’t normally write reviews so early after getting a product but I just received this heater today and it seems to be very good for the price, I mean there are much better brands out there that are three times and four times the price and I do own some of those brands. But for a simple manual Oil radiator with no bells and whistles, this one works perfect. The thing I don’t like about the digital ones that I own that are more expensive, if the power goes out during a ice/snow storm, and I am not home. When the power comes back on, the digital ones do not restart automatically on their own , and that is a pain because I do use one of these heaters to keep my pipes from freezing in my basement. I have regular steam heat but the house is 120 years old and even with the regular steam heat. There is still some drafty and cold rooms that need a little bit of extra heat and these heaters work good. I live in the Northeast and we’ve already been below zero in the first week of December 2025. And this heater does an excellent job to keep my bedroom toasty warm on those cold, windy winter nights. I am a very light sleeper, so not having a fan in the heater like other heaters, makes it extra nice because it is a nice warm, radiant heat without the noise. It was easy to assemble with the provided. Wingnuts, did not need any extra tools. I don’t know if it has any safety features such as a tip over switch, or any of that as i did not experiment and try, but I only run it on the medium setting, never high because the wiring in my house is also on the older side and I don’t want to stress it by Adding unnecessarily high draw devices. On the second setting it draws around 700 W. On the first setting it draws about 550 W. The highest setting seems to draw about 1300 W but I don’t use it.

I bought another one because it works really good. So now I have 2. I like that it has a 2 prong plug as to 3 which I think may use less electricity. It also heats up nice and the oil keeps it hot even longer. It automatically shuts off and turns on to regulate temperature which I like. It’s a great heater!

Es ideal para espacios pequeños y medianos, yo lo adquirí para mi espacio de oficina y calienta los espacios a la perfección, me pareció una buena compra con relación a costo beneficio, aunque hubiera preferido que fuera una compra no exportada, sin embargo el producto es bueno y cumple con las funciones.

Mi Depa mide 40 metros cuadrados, donde vivo hace mucho frio por las mañanas y cuando hago ejercicio me doy buenos enfriones a tal grado que me llego a resfriar. Compre un enchufe programable y el calentador se prende-apaga de 4-9 de la mañana(4 veces por semana) y a las 7 que empiezo hacer ejercicio ya esta aclimatado. Cumple con su funcion pero eso si el servicio de luz paso de 800 bimestrales a horrorosos 1400 pesos.

Excelente calentdor! Lo puse en el cuarto de mi bebé y ha funcionado perfecto. No hace nada de ruido (aunque una reseña dice que si pero es falso), tampoco huele. Lo usamos en una habitación pequeña.

Calienta pero cuartos pequeños donde solo tengas una cama individual o maximo matrimonial

Tengo un departamento pequeño, y no calienta nada en la habitación, lo compare con otros radiadores o calefactores más pequeños y baratos y este nada, ni poniéndolo en su máxima potencia. Realmente tenia la esperanza de que si funcionara ya que hay tanto buenos como malos comentarios pero a mi no me funciono, se calienta el aparato pero no la habitación
