This little kit was perfect for snorkeling in VI. Decent quality and affordable—much better than you’ll find in department stores and less money than renting,Flippers fit well without discomfort. The snorkel doesn’t let in water—perfect for beginners. You can dive under with it, just blow out the water when you resurface.The mask is tempered glass and has a film that will fog if you don’t treat it first. You have to melt the inside film off with a lighter. What’s not glass is silicone and won’t melt/burn. Then coat with white toothpaste and rinse. Our tour guide brought a solution of baby shampoo and water to rinse the inside masks and prevent fogging. You can also spit in it, but none of this will work until you remove the interior coating.My friend bought a set when we arrived on the island and it was bad all around—plastic mask that was hard to see through, painful flippers and a closed top snorkel that let in water.This isn’t pro quality but is really good quality that will last you longer than one vacation—just be sure to clean it after use. Fits a suitcase and comes with a little net bag.

Recently my wife and I got into snorkeling and found the rental sets to be not super great. We had issues with goggles leaking and did not like having to constantly blow out the water every time we dove. This set was great. There was no water leaking into the goggles and I was extremely impressed by how the snorkel kept water out. I could dive down into the water and come up and immediately start breathing through it again without having to purge water. I did not expect it to work nearly as well as it did. On top of that, the color is awesome. Overall I really liked this set and would highly recommend it.

Snorkel set was excellent. The fins are a little on the short side but works well in little or no current plus it’s perfect for travel.

Good value, worked fine in the ocean with little leaking. Not the highest quality but if you're just going on a few trips they should be fine.

Good quality material that is soft yet seals to your preventing water in your mask. Love that the snorkel attaches/detaches easily.

I think these are okay for this price. but I am looking for better quality. I will return them.

Excellent! Well made! No leaking from mask and visibility was perfectly clear (although I did prepare the mask before diving (few drops of baby shampoo onto inside of lens and rinse keeps it from fogging). Used it to snorkel all over Hawaii without any issues. Fins are comfortable and do not fall off. Carrying bag is mesh and very useful for toting your gear around. Good price. Rinse after use to protect your gear. Would highly recommend and plan on using it again many times in the future. Bought them for the whole family. No regrets! Smaller size mask for my teenage girls, and medium size for me.
