Fantastic Design and Well Built
After watching Eric the Car Guy use his on YouTube, I set out looking for the same torque wrench. I'm NOT a "follow the leader" type of person on fancy tools and I did my research. Why should you chose this over a traditional beam type or clicker type torque wrench? Because beam type torque wrenches don't have an audible click when you get to the preset torque and because clicker type torque wrenches lose calibration over time. This is the best combination of the two types of devices possible with significantly longer times between calibration necessary while still having the auditory click of a traditional torque wrench. Overall the product is VERY well made and my complaints are few and far between.Complaints thus far:-The handle is short. Compared to a traditional 1/2" drive clicker wrench, this torque wrench is about 3/4 the length. Great for the hard to reach places but at the higher torque values for things such as lug nuts, engine cross member bolts, suspension components, etc, it can be very difficult to apply the necessary torque without putting your literal body weight into it, especially at higher torque values. You also cannot put an extended lever on this as that will not provide accurate torque readings.-The 1/2" drive head is not fixed into the body of the torque wrench. I'm not sure why this was designed this way, outside of the possible need for maintenance or ease of manufacture... but on my wrench, the 1/2" drive head comes out rather easily when you go to pull the socket off the end of it.-The "manual of arms" for this torque wrench is NOT like a traditional clicker wrench. What I mean by this is it takes some extra mental effort to remind yourself that your clicker does NOT reset after each use. I have to take the time to manually reset it and also take the time to REMIND myself to reset it as it provides NO feedback when the plunger isn't reset. This is ONLY a problem when first using the device. I've learned to reset and leave set the plunger.Overall, these complaints are extremely MINOR complaints. Overall, I figured this would be one of those hopelessly expensive tools that professional mechanics have that I'd not be able to afford, but upon finding the price, I was pleasantly surprised that not only was it affordable, but it wasn't much more than buying a traditional clicker style torque wrench from any of the "enthusiast" level manufacturers (Craftsman, Kobalt, etc) while having a significantly higher reliability factor.

It only does one direction but its far more reliable
I like that I can use this as both a gauge and a torque wrench, and that it's less temperamental than some click types.

Limited range
The handle is very difficult to pull out to adjust the torque setting

Ratcheting torque t-handle is great!
This little tool is great! It has already shown its worth with tightening drum heads (I know not a conventional use) but it helps get consistency across all of the lugs and gets me pretty close to round “tonality” for my drum heads. Other torque wrenches designed for drums just seemed weak and unable to handle the yaks of some of the requirements for the drums I tune. Like any good torque wrench, it only “tightens” though I have tried to pick it up and loosen lugs and it just spins! Great little addition to my drum kit arsenal!

I was surprised
I never knew about the deflecting beam torque wrench until I found this one on Amazon. I used it to check against the accuracy of my other click-style torque wrench. I was happy about the accuracy and the good clicking sound. I see this style of torque wrench as an improvement on the traditional beam style torque wrench and an alternative to the click-style as it seems to be less prone to losing its calibration. I shall see how it works on the long run but for now I am happy.

Let's Get Down n Torquey
A must needed inch pounds torque wrench. I use it on the Harley motorcycle. I'll use it on neighbors high performance road racing bike. Other applications will be handy in future.

Simplistic and Effective
Love the simplicity of this torque wrench. I like that it clicks when the torque is reached. I still have a micrometer type torque wrench but will probably get rid of it. This is much easier. I’ve used it several times for wheels and will be using it for some engine work soon. I highly recommend it. This review was not paid. Just wanted to add a review to help someone else decide.

1 star, many reasons why!
I can not recommend it for multitude of reasons:1. False advertisement - wrench is certified to +- 4% accuracy, not 2% as stated.2. Dial accuracy - scale(dial) is marked in 5 ft.lb increments, it is not precise. By default it can not be set accurately outside of 5ft.lb increments, not withing 4% as tested, not withing 2% as falsely advertised. Furthermore it is unclear where exactly torque begins, is it exactly on the mark? Maybe on the edge before or after the mark? Where? This much variation is no where close to 4% or 2% accuracy.3. Ease of use - none! Lack of ratcheting mechanism is a suffering. The dimensions are terrible, it is too short for high torque jobs, and too heavy and bulky for tight spaces. Forget about working on cars with it outside of torquing lug nuts. This chunk of metal needs all the free space you can get to put it to use without frustration.4. Mistakes, oopsies, @#%$ - you will have it. Torquing a nut to 200 ft.lb in a tight space, on a hot humid day? You will make mistakes! You unintentionally will bump that dial to wrong torque, this thing is bulky and catches on everything! You will forget to set the pin or unintentional reset the pin and over torque bolts! Just as easily as mistaking something as simple as leftie from rightie. This is a torque wrench for a select few amount of applications and situations. This is not tool for every day, or all the jobs.
