Some of my favorite chocolates in the World
The Mirabell Mozartkugeln are some of my favorite chocolates in the World. I lived in Austria for 10 years, and perhaps I am biased, but so far, not a single person said they did not like these. The shipment I had received (from seller, "Monarchy Catering") arrived perfectly, and the balls were fresh. I read that some reviewers said theirs came stale or melted. It's too bad that there aren't many sellers in the USA carrying these like how Nutella eventually became popular, and so for now, Amazon sellers are the only way I can get some of these from time to time.Reber's Mozart Kugeln are good too, but because of the Marzipan, it has a more nuttier, alcoholic taste. My dad prefers the taste of Reber's, but the rest of the family (and friends) prefer Mirabell's. I do have to say that the Reber's don't taste as rich (which can be a good thing after you've had too many Mirabell's!)If you found this review helpful, please hit the "Yes" button to encourage me to write more. Thank you!

Delicious and fresh from Austria

Very disappointing.
These taste like peanut butter, not at ALL like Mozartkugeln (we just visited Salzburg and lived nearby for years). Consistency mushy and old-tasting, despite the 2023 use-by date. Really disappointing, won't buy again.

These are still good, but Reber ones are outstanding
Personal opinion: Same chocolates made by Reber were tastier. These are still good, but Reber ones are outstanding.

Use expedited delivery- it's chocolate.
I've loved these, just couldn't find them. Shipping delays (three) concerned me-how would they survive? When I questioned delivery, they returned on their own. Use expedited delivery. It's chocolate.

Not as Tasty As I'd hoped
The inside did not look like the advertised cross-section drawing. It was dried out and not very tasty. I couldn't see the pistachio green. I won't buy it again.

Didn't get what I ordered but company made good.
I ordered this and paid $83.65. I thought I was ordering what was pictured and what was described. A BOX of 100 Mozart kugeln. What I got was a bag of 17 and a bag of 9. 26 is not 100. $80 for 26 chocolate balls. Basically I got 25% of my order. The company does not take returns on this item (understandable since it is food) but did refund me the $60 I requested, I.E. 75% of what I paid for the 75% of my order that was missing. Packing error they say. I say there needs to be a change of personnel wherever this is packed. I am not pleased I waited for almost a month and here it is coming up on Christmas and I only have 26 balls to distribute among the family. There's no way I could order from anyone and get them in time. But not ordering these again. Too much grief and stress.

Good product, good service
Delicious and exactly what I remember from the ones I was gifted after a friend went to Europe. Package and contents arrived without a mishap (though keep in mind I ordered them in the fall/early winter, so shipping would have been cooler). Definitely worth the purchase if you like Mozart balls.
