Seems good quality. Certainly did the job.
Bought this as a like for like replacement for the old one which was having trouble maintaining it's pressure.Quality seems good. Had to re-use the old bracket though, as the new one has been re-designed a little bit, leaving the holes I needed slightly lower down on the bracket. This would have moved the vessel downwards slightly as well, which just couldn't happen as then it wouldn't have married up with all the soldered (and therefore immovable) pipework. The design on the brackets (both new and old) is very poorly thought out though. Clearly whoever did it has never had to fit or replace one! The bracket screws to the wall and then the flanged rim of the vessel slots in and is clamped via tightening up two screws. Seems simple and fine in isolation, but when actually in place the vessel blocks access to the wall screws, and the other screws to loosen the grip on the vessel are angled at 45 degrees into the wall, so almost impossible to any kind of screwdriver on (even the 90 degree ones). I just managed to undo the wall screws using one of those little screwdriver wrenches for tight access situations, and even then I had to do a few turns on one side and then a few turns on the other to slowly back the bracket off the wall, as there was barely room to squeeze the driver between the screw head and the vessel and two turns of the screw is enough to take up the free space between screw and vessel. If the clamp screws had been vertical, instead of sloped towards the wall, it would be possible to get a long screw driver on it and remove the vessel fairly easily (although still wouldn't have helped in my case, as the builders had thoughtfully glued and screwed a piece of wood just a couple of inches above the bracket for supporting the airing cupboard shelving to *really* make sure you couldn't get to those screws!). Don't know why they made it 45 degrees. Probably holds a little better, but this isn't a moving part, or even subject to much vibration, so doesn't seem necessary to grip it all that tight.Might be worth investing in a set of those specialty really low profile 90 degree screwdrivers for very difficult access areas if you are going to try and swap out a vessel like this. Amazon have a couple of different types available for about £20-30.

My Heating Engineer recommended
My previous tank failed and this one was recommended by my heating engineer as a good quality product with good life expectancy. Although restricted access to the mounting bracket to tank securing screws as at the back, I found no problem. I would certainly recommend without hesitation.
