Great product - shared tips for getting clean lines
Having just received my shipment of this last week, I have no experience with durability, but wanted to share my first impressions on applying it and getting clean beads. I am using this on my 2009 Rockwood Roo 23ss. I purchased this because a number of caulk seams were splitting or cracked. This stuff skins over very fast. I usually only got one pass at smoothing it before it started to skin. It's much less forgiving than household caulk, understably so, because your house isn't moving down the highway at 60 mph like your camper is. Another level of flexibility and water protection is needed.Use a pair of gloves that fits tight to your skin and isn't loose, to get a smooth bead. Initially I tried using disposable nitrile gloves, but found that a pair my wife's platex dishwashing gloves worked better because they fit tight on my fingers. For the best results, my toolkit was a cup of soapy water, spray bottle of soapy water, cup of mineral spirits, and a rag. I cut the tube to the smallest bead size, placed a thin bead shaped and initially smoothed by the tube nozzle. Then I sprayed over the bead with soapy water to prevent it from sticking beyond the seam. Then I dipped my finger in soapy water and smoothed the bead. I wiped the excess caulk on the rag, cleaned my finger tip in mineral spirits, dipped back in the soapy water, and finished smoothing the bead. The mineral spirits on a rag also helps clean up the mistakes. Be careful not to get mineral spirits on the bead - unless you intend to - it basically melts the caulk in place.I was also surprised that I only used about half a tube to reseal most of my worn camper seams even though I bought four tubes. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product. Practice in a few inconspicuous areas to get the hang and you'll do fine.

I hope it works like it's suppose to
have to wait for it to rain now to see how well it works... but it did dry really fast which was good.....

Great for indoor problems too
We had a bathroom tub/surround (in our house) that, because of high humidity (no central air) had a tendency to chew through caulking every few months. We suspected that when the caulking separated, it put some residual moisture into the sheetrock. No matter what we did, no luck in getting caulking to take permanent hold. After reading on several forums about this product, gave it a shot.First of all, it works. Its dry as a bone to this day, and we are coming up on a year. It is a strong, and rigid bead when dry, and sets up quickly. The negative - while applying, there is little room for error. It is ultra-sticky, and susceptible to any and all type of grime around the tub, so make sure the surface you are applying it to is spotless, or you will incorporate whatever residual elements are around into your permanent seal. I know this seems elementary, but trust me, it's the most difficult stuff to work with and has zero forgiveness. That being said, if you are having to recaulk your bathroom at too frequent intervals, then this is probably a good way to go.

This is good stuff to use on RV,s.
This is so much better than silicone. Leaves a tough bead that don't get so dirty, and can be cleaned off.Work fast, this stuff cures up quickly. A little bead goes a long way.I used my wet finger to smooth out the bead.
