These are awesome little lights. I didn't want to add the strip lights as I would have wires going all over. I like the clean look and these meet my needs. They will go off when the engine is turned off and the sockets have no power. I recommend these!!!!!!

Decided to buy one of these to throw into the USB port in my 2017 Ram.Does it light up? Yup! Does it shine bright? Nope... great value for the money? Nope.Way over priced for what it does. I figured let’s go with the more expensive one so it’s a better product. Nope just buy a cheap one cause it will work the same.

As you can see in my photos the first picture doesn't pick up what the naked eye can see. But the other 2 photos does show what you can see when change your camera's settings.There are 2 LEDs on the top of the plug, the cover for the usb light is clear, very clear, so much so you can see the circuit board that the LEDs are attached to.I think if they just made the plastic more opaque then it would diffuse the light better. But then they wouldn't have the same throw distance

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  If you want the RGB version to be able to hold any setting, or you want it for its capability to show red only, or switch slowly between colors, forget buying this. The first few times it's ok, but having to manually change the color setting every single time you get into your car gets old and it just makes it very artificial, standing out instead of blending into the mood of the car.Also, the LED is on one side of the board and, as a result, gives a very "directional" color effect. At least in the case of my setup, either it lit up the side and illuminated, but had an awkward cutoff, or it pointed out to where it wouldn't really be visible. The good news is the type of USB design used allows for insertion in both directions. Suffice to say, however, I quickly got another similar product after this that just lit up in simple red.Also in this video, this was pretty much the most consistent the audio-changing light ever was due to the very obvious pause in the music, but generally, it just felt like it was randomly flashing colors otherwise, which is ok, but not really what's being advertised.

On my 2016.5 Mazda CX5, the USB ports are located in a cubbyhole under the climate control panel at the front of the center console. This is the only place in the vehicle to put things needing convenient access (cell phone, etc.). At night it's completely dark in there.....you can't see a thing. This is a great solution. My USB ports are switched on an off by the ignition which is exactly what I wanted. It's plenty bright for what I needed. On the outside chance it matters to you, know that this LED light emits bright daylight lighting. I personally would have preferred a soft white light which would look better in my vehicle but that's nitpickin.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  There is nothing to like about this product. From the moment I took it out of the package it will not work properly in any USB ports. Between 2 different cards I have tried 10 different plugs and have the same issue every time. The light does not make proper contact inside the plugs and if you can even get the light to stay on as soon as you hit the slightest bump the light goes out. Absolutely nothing but garbage

I bought this light for the interior of my 2015 Civic that does not have any light in the floor area It's very bright high Kelvin light (color temperature rating) so that if it is in your direct line of sight in your auto's power port it is annoying to say the least. I tried the blue but I would imagine that all of the light colors have the same Kelvin rating and would be equally as distracting to drive with at night.

Wow they are bright. My wife put one under her desk so she can see stuff in her pocket book.I put one in a power strip as a night light and had to slide it under the bed to tone it down. Another one is in my truck so I can see the floor at night.A really cool simple application of LED technology.
