Pays for a gym membership easily
My wife goes to Gold’s gym. It’s like $60 a month. I used to go a lot to planet fitness but she went to golds to be with her friends and I canceled mine hoping to go with her as a guest like she did with me. Problem is she likes to go at 7am no thank you. Instead of getting two memberships at gold’s or one gold’s one planet fitness I just bought these.Incredible quality and zero concern of weights falling on my face like in reviews of even expensive toggle weights like Bowflex. UPDATE: Bowflex just got recalled in the US for weights falling off June 2025 lol. Don’t even get me started on the FitRx ones and the recall they had lol. I do agree with others that I wish the weight stopper was metal, but even as plastic it feels like it holds reaaaaally well.Square shape is strange to look at but does not hinder movements if you adjust grip as needed. I had no problems doing full body workout.

Dependable, sturdy, simple, classic.
This company has been around a while, and for good reason. It's sturdy, the range of weight and increments give you a lot of flexibility with use, simple mechanism, and the fact that this particular model is expandable is a great value if you're just starting out and want to have the option of growing. As long as you know what you're getting, this is a great adjustable dumbbell. Newer types of adjustable dumbbells are in the more traditional shape, but there's a cost and complexity that comes along with them that make them less reliable.

Holding Up Well
Been using these two to three times a week for about 9 months now. Still function and look like new. I prefer the rubber handles on these. More comfortable and better grip than knurled steel.

These Really Are The World's Best Dumbbells!
The durability on these dumbbells are far beyond expectations. I recently purchased my second pair. My son moved out to college, so I gave him my older version I bought 21 years ago which almost look and function like the day I bought them (ofcourse with some scratches) Viewers say you can't drop them and yes it's true to a certain extent. But over 21 years there have been times I mistakenly did drop them. No damage just scratches.LET'S GET TO BUSINESS!PROS:Fast AdjustingVery DurableLess Wider than most adjustable dumbbellsEasy On your thighs because they're flat at the endsDon't Rattle as muchBeing Square will NEVER roll off on youExpandable (you're not obligated to purchase highest weight)2.5 lbs IncrementsGreat Customer ServiceFeel really good in your handCONS:Slightly Expensive (buy once... cry once)Shouldn't Be DroppedYou Pass On, a family/friend will inherit them 😆

Great space saver
Great option if space is an issue. The block shape is a little weird to get used to but having the ability to quickly swap between the weights is awesome in my opinion.

durable and practical
The power blocks are durable and practical. From what I have observed from my first week of owning them, they appear they will most likely last for the next ten years, if taken care of correctly. When lifting the power blocks they are a bit cumbersome but that is not a deal breaker for myself. When using the four point pin to adjust the weights on the powerbocks they sometimes get latched/inserted into the pin holes above or below the pin hole that I intended to put pin in. This is not a big problem because all one needs to do is pull the pin out and readjust the four point pin into the correct pin holes. The four point pins that go into the power blocks rrr made of plastic. I have read in other reviews that the four point pins sometime snap. In my experience as long as the owner takes care of the blocks they will hopeful last for ten years. When I first open the box I notice a plastic lining on every other power blocks weight. The power blocks go by ten pound increments. white = 30, purple = 40, green = 50, yellow = 60, blue = 70, red = 80, and black = 90. The 40, 60, and 80lb weights had a plastic lining, and the 30, 50, 70, and 90lb did not have a plastic lining. I believe the plastic lining purpose is to have the weight slide up and down comfortably. The power blocks have a rubber grip. In my humble opinion they would be a 5/5 if the grips were made of metal, or aluminum, or a harder material.I will write an another review in 2034. Lol. Over all the power blocks are great. They are practical and no major problems. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a home work out. I would rate a 4/5 stars.

Great and super convenient. Takes a little bit to get used to them.
Extremely convenient. Really looking forward to buying the expansion, only downside is that a lot of the weight is concentrated around the handle, so if you are used to traditional dumbbells they can feel a little heavier due to the different weight distribution. Love them
