7 Months In - Amazing
I've had these dumbbells for 7 months now and have little regrets. These were my first endeavor into having a workout setup at home and these performed excellently. Easy to switch weights, durable, intuitive. The only wish I had for them is the shape to be less constraining (it marginally restricts some movements). Other than that, these offer amazing value and I am looking forward to buying the expansion set.

Sturdy and efficient
I’m skeptical of all multi-weight dumbells. I bought the powerblock dumbells because there was no “plastic turn mechanism” like most adjustable dumbells on the market. I read a lot of reviews that those plastic parts break often due to the aggressive constant use. I have only had the power blocks for about 2 weeks and so far I love them. This is not a longevity review, I have no info on that, but first impressions of using these dumbells for two weeks are phenomenal. I do different movements with chest, back, legs, arms and shoulders every day. They feel terrific in my hands and are not as bulky as I originally predicted. The 50lb setting isn’t any bigger than what a normal 50lb dumbell would be. They seem to perform well to all my movements. I get a little worried setting them down too fast on my concrete floor, I do not want to damage them, but that’s more of a personal topic since I don’t have rubber mats. Overall, I bought these dumbells for $300, that’s $150 each for 10 dumbells (5-50lbs) so together it comes out to $15 per dumbell. I think it’s an absolute steal. I very much recommend these and I will be buying the expansions to increase the weight in the future (another reason I chose this set!)

So very happy I decided on these adjustable dumbbells!
After much research and review reading I pulled the trigger on Power Block Elite EXP.Have been using for about a month now and I love them!Very easy to transition between weights (esp. like the “adder weights” for the incremental changes!),and the design with the flat ends makes it so much better to be able to rest these on your thighs for bench presses etc.!I was curious if the “caged” grip would be an issue, but I actually find it really helpful, as for some exercises I can kinda’ rest my wrist on the pad to aid in stability.Build quality is great and the mag pin locking/weight adjustment "fork" is secure and keeps the weights very tight with almost no shifting at any angle. Just make sure you’ve got the pins lined up correctly on the slots for the weight, slide & lock in (you'll get a subtle "click" from the magnets) and you’re good to go!I also got the compact stand from Power Block and it’s a great addition. It really helps with not having to make adjustments to the weights on the floor but at a good sturdy working height so you can rack/change lbs./adder weights, and un-rack easily.Looking forward to be able to add the expansion kits as I progress!

Best Buy For The Money lb per lb
This set of dumbbells are awesome. First they are a great space saver. Second, they are safe and quick to adjust. Also, there are many other mechanical adjustable dumbbells that are similar but the weights get stuck as the locking system wares down over time. However, this system is not mechanical, the adjustable pin system is easy to use and never fails to slide out the weight amount as you need, it's full proof and they never get stuck. The paint finish and quality are excellent. Also, I like the smaller foot print of their design and I though they would be awkward to handle but just the opposite is true. Since they are compact I feel I can handle the heavier weight with more control. I am close to 60 and for me 50 lbs is probably enough for most exercises, but for certain exercises such as shoulder shrugs I can still jump up to 70lbs on each hand. I like that I can increase to 90 lbs but I probably won't need to get there I my age. Regardless, if you're not a professional body builder and plan on exceeding 90lbs on each hand these are a great deal and product. I am extremely happy I bought them as they have done an amazing job with the design and the person who created this system really though outside the box. Oh and by the way, the box design is also a bonus especially when you go heavy and you plant them on top of your knees to kick them up for a dumbbell press. You'll see if you buy them. BTW, I don't have any endorsement with this company I just was impressed with the overall value I received, I know a good product when I use one and this is a great product.

Great set of dumbbells
The Elite EXP stands out for its exceptional adjustable weight system, making transitions between exercises incredibly smooth. With just a quick adjustment, I can change the weight settings to suit my workout needs, ranging from lighter exercises to more intense sessions. This flexibility has saved me time and space while keeping my workouts dynamic and tailored to my goals.

Very convenient
Worth the price, hard to get used to with the blocky shape but certainly does its job. It was a bit confusing to use but after a while it got easier to manage and put together. Because of the block shape it is a bit harder to use in terms of hand placement and adjusting how you hold them but the shape helps with storage for sure. The way its set up to be adjusted weights is extremely convenient and works great and very secure so you dont have to worry about anything coming apart or falling off. I also love the added small weights in the handles so you can go up in weight increments in small amounts
