Fun metal to play with
This is a very cool metal to mess around with, especially with aluminum shavings. I would recommend just getting a smaller amount at first to see how much you go through. I personally still have my small sample from years ago (you really don't use much of it in experiments)

It’s metal, good expirience- it’s not a toy don’t buy it as a toy for your kids it’s not slime
I got it a week and a half early on a 3-4 week expected delivery, the galium came in a plastic tubing, it melted in warm water, wasn’t fake or anything. I’d say the tubing was a little iffy and not the very best container but works. Overall it’s not a toy, it will get places, hands aren’t going to melt it ASAP (unless you have ridiculously hot hands). It’s a metal, what do ya want :)

My kids love it too
This stuff is neat! My kids love it too, they come home every day and ask if we can play with the Gallium lol. I read that it would leave a bit of a black residue on your hands that could be washed off with soap and water (which is can) But one of my boys must have gotten it on his shirt or something because every time I turned around I was finding black smudges on the edges of the counters, finally I made him change shirts and the problem stopped. We have dropped some of it in liquid form on the floor a couple of times, you can warm it with a hair dryer on low and then scrape up as much as possible before cleaning with a soapy cloth. you want to get up as much as you can first because it wont soak into the rag. You will just be pushing it around making a bigger mess.

Slow shipping.
Shipping is NOT fast as advertised. It has to come from china so it takes a while. The metal itself is, as far as I can tell, is well...gallium. Fun to play around with, makes a mess but cleans up with soap.

Awesome!
Works great!!! Do not listen to those bad comments about how hard it is to get it out of the container or get it to melt in there hands, you just need to do it the right way. To get it out of the container all you have to do is dip the container in warm water ( water has to be above 86 degrees F ) and wait for a minute or to and the gallium will come out, some will be melted and some will be solid so be carful to not let the melted gallium get anywhere. To get the solid gallium to melt in your hand IT TAKES TIME! It will not met the instant you touch it. Put the gallium in your hand and cup it and WAIT, it will melt. If you are looking to buy gallium get it from this dealer

It is a nontoxic metal that is liquid when warmed up and therefore really cool to handle
Shipped quicker than expected. Packaged in two vials as pictured. It is a nontoxic metal that is liquid when warmed up and therefore really cool to handle. It does leave a graphite-y residue behind, but washes off with soap and water. Like a previous reviewer mused, how can you really review an element? It is what it is :)

Alot of fun but HARD TO Clean!!!
The gallium itself is very cool and easy to get off your hands once you wash them. When it's hard all you have to do is set it in warm or hot water and it will melt. The BAD Part of this is that once you spill it on the floor , rugs , carpet or whatever it is extremely hard to get off. I washed my rugs and my entire dryer was gray from gallium. Our feet and hands were stained gray. Again easy to come off. But it's annoying when it begins to be in places you can't see!

Best for the price.
It is pure. Melts right in my hand. Not safe to eat though just got to add that. Even let my kids touch it. Just wash hand as soon as there done. Got it for teaching my kids and kids class about melting point. It works great because kids have no patience. Thanks...
