This is a great book on feelings. Very descriptive, like poetry. I love reading it. Love how it has a cut out of a person and you read through the layers.

Sadness is a river bursting it's banks, anger is a volcano erupting, while jealousy feels like a misty steam that 'churns and seethes.' Beautifully illustrated with warm tones, a variety of textures and mosaics, each page is atmospheric and dream-like. A lovely read for a group, one to one and perfect as a gift. This is a quality book to share with young ones to help them understand their own feelings and to respect other's. Lyrical text describes each emotion using lovely illustrations and the colors they evoke.

Great book. Our 4 year old really engages with this and is a good read when he has been through a whirlwind of emotions, often in the last few hours. Nicely written and really beautifully illustrated.
