It is not a ground bait so there is no need to add water. They are small red pellets. You can add them to your ground bait after you have mixed it or loose feed them. They can also be put on the hook as they are soft. Hope this helped and tight lines.

hi of coarse they are. they sit great on a 18s fine wire hook.or squeeze 2 together and put on a 16s.good hook bait to fish with mico,s as feed.
