perfect for powering dual-motor robot drives
Works great for my small tracked robot project. I'm feeding it 7.4VDC, and running my arduino off the 5vdc output. nice feature!

The unit has continuous draw for an onboard L.E.D. they don't mention or show in the pictures so you must install a switch or let it draw power all the time. It's a SMD LED red, so it is very low draw but if you're trying to use a small battery you better have a switch. Seller please put that in the description. Other than that it's a fantastic unit so far, works great 👍

Excellent and wonderfully cheap.
Great module. Standard L298N device with a proper heatsink and useful posts. For more info, look for the L298N datasheet. Requires 4-6 pins on your micro controller, the 2 pin difference required for PWM speed control.The datasheet says Vs for the motors needs to be 2.5v higher than Vin for signals, however, I was able to get it to work with 5v signal and a 6v supply.Does not have current sensing.

Great unit.
My first H bridge. I had not realized that this unit can also power the Arduino without the Arduino having to be supplied with a secondary power source.

Entirely satisfied, helping my 7 year old build his first robot. Couldn't figure out why the PWM speed control wasn't working even with the jumpers off ENA and ENB, and finally realized I needed to change digitalWrite to analogWrite in the Arduino sketch for these OUTPUTs.
