Perfect finish on oily wood like walnut.
I had a problem with Osmo Top Oil on some walnut. I must add that it wasn't the fault of the Top Oil which is an excellent product. It was the fact that walnut is a naturally oily wood which requires a thinner finishing oil for best effect - and the Extra Thin was perfect. Live and learn.

Perfect for Iroko
Made the mistake of buying the regular one first. If you have a very hard oily wood such as Iroko, you really need this. Don’t make my mistake or it’s lots of sanding!! This extra thin stuff is great! Used it on several surfaces and goes a long way.

Quick delivery and a good price
The product has been used on an iroko worktop that had been well used. A light sanding to remove old surface and a few coats of Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin and it looks like new.

Perfect for making wood look good.
Can't fault Osmo Oil products. Would be nice if they were cheaper, but this stuff goes a long way.

Best for hard woods
I find using this far preferrable to the standard oil which can be diificult to absorb on certain woods. I used on rosewood vaneer table. It was necessary to remove all the old wax/laquer however after the hard prep. work the result is great. Used 180 grit sandpaper prior to applyinmg sparingly with a microfibre cloth. 2 coats max.
