I bought this for homemade toothpaste powder. It is just as described! However, I will not be using it in the future, as I have found that it was easier to use peppermint essential oils since this turns everything green.

This is a nice mint and a good size.

I add this to bentonite and calcium carbonate to make my own toothpaste. There are a few other ingredients. This makes a great powder that you just dip your wet toothbrush in and brush your teeth teeth. It re-mineralizes your teeth, cleans your breath and whiten your teeth. Materials 1 TBSP mint powder (peppermint or spearmint) ¼ cup bentonite clay 3 TBSP calcium carbonate powder 1 TBSP baking soda (optional) 1 TBSP cinnamon 1-3 tsp ground cloves 1 TBSP xylitol powder - optionsl

I use this for everything from homemade toothpastes & powders - for people and pets, to teas and desserts in the kitchen. It is good quality. Would be nice if it came in a dark glass jar, but I just transfer it to my own.

Mild minty flavor but natural. I wish it was cheaper.

I haven't tried it yet because I have to wait until after my surgery to review this product. I just wanted you all to see that it IS powdered because I couldn't find another peppermint powder anywhere on Amazon and because mostly all of the reviews show it as being a crushed leaf product, that is not true, this is the correct item that you would be getting Starwest Botanicals peppermint leaf powder organic 4 oz.
