EAS Myoplex Lite Ready-to-Drink Nutrition Shake, Chocolate Fudge, 11 fl. oz.., (Pack of 24)

I read a few reviews here while I was checking to see if they eve got around to fixing this god awful price and now I feel the need to clear a few things up. 1- This is a great product. The two best RTD protein supplements are this and Muscle Milk. Both are same price. Your personal taste preference is the only deciding factor. 2- To one of the ill informed reviewers below. EAS Myoplex DOES NOT give you gas. Excess protein CAN give you some gas. Artificial sweeteners and flavoring CAN give you gas [I'm coincidentally super gassy right this second because I just ate way more grilled chicken than I needed to]. 3- This is one of, if not the worst price point I have ever seen on any product ever. These should run you $2.00 per drink. Now $3.54 per drink may not seem like a whole lot, especially when it comes to your health, but at a 177% markup, what are we doing here Amazon? Would you pay $354,000 for a $200,000 house? Cut the $h!t, Amazon.

I've used this product on and off for the last 2 years. I like to have mine after my run, which is 3/4 times a week. I buy it through amazon subscribe and save program. Program works well during the winter months as it is cold enough outside to keep the drinks cool in the truck while it sits there for several days until they deliver it. But I have had to return it once during summer when the temperatures outside we're close to a hundred and saw that they had spoiled when I went to drink it, the drinks had a cottage cheese consistency (yuck). After that I only order them during the winter months. The chocolate tastes good to me, i didn't care for the strawberry, it was very sweet. Not sure if it is actually helping me build muscle though.

I know this is the Manufacturer's decision to implement changes to their product, but to change the taste this drastically is really a poor business decision. I know people bought the original Myoplex Lite because it would be gone as soon as it hit the shelf, but raising the sodium content 130 mg., lowering the potassium 460 mg.,along with losing 2 grams of fiber as well, makes it taste watery and leaves an aftertaste. It is in a spiffy new container, but that doesn't make up for the lack of taste, of course this is my opinion only, others may like it. Nancy M. Greene

My hairstylist suggested this to me. She knew I drank Slim Fast at one time, but stopped because of the sugar content. She said it was really good and told me what flavor to buy, etc. I didn't like the consistency of this drink and expected it to be similar to Slim Fast which is thicker, more like a smoothie. The Myoplex Lite is like drinking flavored water. I wouldn't purchase this product again. I told my hairstylist and she is going to buy the case I bought because she likes it so much. I gave it a try anyway!!!

Don't get me wrong. I drink this all the time...It is a great way to take protein with you when your active or traveling. The packaging is great and works well. The chocolate flavor is wonderful...still has that little after taste that you get with these type of drinks...I like the ready to drink, because it is thin and you can down it fast and it chills easily. I am a subscribe and save customer of this product. The 4 stars are for 1. the expense $35 for a 24 pack I wish it was a little cheaper and while it's not a meal replacement if you are delayed eating this will tide you over. 2. mildly chalky tasting. Bottom line this is a very good product and has improved over the years.

Like the title says... it tastes good and has plenty of vitamins. It's got enough proteins that I can use it as a breakfast replacement (much healthier than cereal or whole eggs). Also, as a breakfast replacement, it's much more convenient than having to crack a bunch of eggs and remove the yolks and it might be cheaper than buying egg substitutes. Plus, it's a great and healthy after workout snack. Finally, because it has so many vitamins it helps to drink this so that I got my daily dose of vitamins, or close to my daily dose of vitamins on those days that I forget to take a multi-vitamin pill. I JUST ORDERED ANOTHER SET!

If you are willing to put toxins into your body, then this is a good product. It's better than most protein shakes, that's why I am giving it 3 stars. It wasn't until after I reserached the ingredients that I realized these type of protein shakes are not healthy and contain a lot of toxins.

I have been purchasing this item as a subscribe & save for over a year and the cost was under $30 with the discount. Now the subscribe and save is cancelled and the price is $80! Are you kidding me? This is nothing but price gouging, there is no way the cost on this product has increased this much in such a short period of time. Booooo Amazon, Boooooo!!!!
