Excellent quality Wera deep sockets. Only downside you’ll need to buy a couple of individual ones that don’t come with this set. Apart from that it’s all good and the twist lock is a brilliant idea.

Impressive craftsmanship, quality and ingenuity. The twist lock/unlock feature on the base is brilliant, along with a Velcro backing along the bottom that might come in handy down the road.

まず、写真と商品説明文ではわかりにくいところを書いときます。ソケットは写真通りで5ミリから13ミリまでで9だけ入ってないラインナップです。とはいえ別売りで9も14も15も買えるのでそこは問題ないです。ソケットを横から見ると穴が空いており、その穴が四角差し込みのボールを保持するのかと思ったら四角穴内部は四面ともディンプル形状になっておりそのうち1つ貫通穴がインパクトソケットのような状態で空いています。四面とも楕円ディンプルなので貫通穴部分も抜き差しに違和感はありません。ホルダーに関しても、どの向きで挿しても固定できます。また、4年以上前のネット上にあるレビューなどでは穴の位置とサイズ表記が揃っておらずホルダーに刺して並べても綺麗に数字が見えないような話がありましたがおそらく改善されているようで、穴も数字も綺麗に揃います。商品はwera特有の綺麗な黒い紙の箱に入ってステッカーも付属。仕上がりも悪くないのでカッコイイですが、他社1/4ソケットよりも若干肉厚で、例えば日本でよく使われる10mmソケットの場合は外径14.2mmくらいが多い中、これは14.7mm弱でおよそ0.5mm大きい。13mmはそこそこ薄いけど12mmもちょっと厚いかな？って感じです。1社で2ブランド展開しているようなソケットだと安い方側のサイズ感です。座ぐりも深めなので、その辺にこだわるならもう少し高いソケットの方が良いかも。メッキに関しても梨地というよりはショットブラストのサテン仕上げなので綺麗ですが傷はつきやすい感じ。
