COMPANY DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY
After several months of light use the splitter broke at the narrow point that connects the rotating threaded portion to the main splitter body. If the warranty was honored and I was promptly sent a new item, I wouldn't feel too bad about it. Perhaps it was just a bad unit, who knows.I attempted to contact the company, using both their website contact form and also the [email protected] email address that they call out in the Amazon product image highlighting their warranty. After over two weeks I have not heard back from them at all. I've checked my spam folder, etc. So, from what I can tell, this product comes with no warranty at all. The company does not respond to support requests via email or their own contact form, and their website provides no phone number.

don't buy the hype
If you have been carefully contemplating this splitter, it might be because you have gone multiple rounds with leaky plastic valves that crack over time, aluminum valves that corrode & seize, or brass valves with small levers that become hard to turn. I'm afraid your needs are not met with this product. Mine initially leaked a bit at the collar, but nothing that tightening and Teflon tape did not solve. However, after a month, it started to dribble at the lever screws and there is little I can do about that. Not leaking enough to replace yet, but I know the drill -- it will get worse over time.I simply cannot accept that this specific Leaf brand is a superior redesign of all the others that look the same. I suspect it is disingenuous marketing. To be fair, it's the best plastic valve I've had, and won't corrode like the pot-metal ones. But I wish someone made a no-lead brass wye that I could pair with the glorious Dramm long-lever valves. The resulting splitter shutoff would cost more than the hoses you attach, but it would be long-lasting perfection that was well worth it.

Buy this one!
The American Dream of faucet splitters! Before finding this gem I bought another brand based on 5 star reviews . Broke before any water ran through it. But this baby is made with stronger parts and is a dream to use. LIFETIME GUARANTEE. Who gives those out anymore? This is the one to buy. And I bought it. This review is NOT of a product given to me free so I could write a useless review. I paid full price and got more than my money's worth. Buy it.

PASS THIS ONE BY
HOW ON EARTH DOES THIS PRODUCT GARNER 5-STAR RATINS? "We have redesigned the connections, valves and adhesives in March 2016". The male, threaded portion broke off in my hand before my hose connection was even remotely tight...ZERO adhesive visible in the connection. The single worst garden product I have ever purchased on Amazon. BEWARE! It should also be noted I received an email, asking for 5-Star rating (from maunufacturer). Jeesh!

So much easier to use
I've been using two of these for a few months now and what a difference from the struggle I had with cheap brands. Not only are the levers longer so they're easy to grip, they move so smoothly and effortlessly. No more fighting to switch hoses, worrying that the lever would break while bruising my fingers. I've been using these to switch between hoses several times a week and each time I do I still marvel at how easy it is to do after years of struggling with other splitters. That feeling has finally made me realize it was past time to review these.Setup was also much easier as the connection to the faucet rotates so I can put the hoses on first and then screw it to the faucet rather than struggling to angle the hoses properly after the splitter is screwed to the faucet. That rotating connector also means you can get a wonderfully tight fit to the faucet without having the splitter facing an awkward angle. These were a little more expensive but are definitely worth it as they are much higher quality and so much easier to use.

Alas! Hose Splitting with Pride... at the cost of gold.
Purchased one at Amazon on May 31, 2016 for $16. 99 Also, bought a brass splIitter, made in China, at Lowe's for $7-8 on the same day. I have used several hose splitters around the house and numerous ones in the garden's irrigation system over the years. They remain in-place, year-round. Some are brass and others have been plastic. I have never liked either, especially, the ones made in China. This Rubberized Comfort.Leaf HD is by far the easiest to operate with the advantage of the larger handles. The gate valves function as expected. The over sized female hose connector can be hand tightened without the use of a tool. The rubber skin gives it a good substantial feeling. I installed one yesterday. This device may be the new standard here as replacements are needed. Made in the U.S.A. Thanks Amazon for giving us a choice! However, I just checked the item here and today, the 18th if June, 2016, it is selling for $26.99 You decide, but I will never buy another one at that price. I'll live with the junk from China.

but arrived in 2 days like Amazon prime
Purchased in Oct 2016; In April, 2017 leaked from where splitter connected to faucet. Did not use all winter, and disconnected hoses. Perhaps 2 hoses hanging from splitter are just too heavy for it?Based on another review, purchased Eley 2-Way Brass Y Valve - about $10.00 more than the Leaf, had to pay shipping, but arrived in 2 days like Amazon prime. Solid industrial brass, connections all seem very firm, and on/off knobs are "over-sized, easy-grab, smooth-action 1/4 turn flow levers", rubberized plastic, extremely easy to use by pushing or pulling rather than turning. Expect the Eley Valve to last! The Leaf does look like all the other plastic ones but in my opinion did not perform any better despite assurances it was improved - made in China also but "designed in US".

Huge leak on brand new product
I have used plenty of splitters in the past. This one had a big leak right from the get go. Had to return it for a refund. Would not recommend.
