Nature Gnaws Beef Paddywack Tendons for Dogs 5-6" (10 Count) - Long Lasting for Aggressive Chewers - Natural Beef Dog Chew Bones - Rawhide Free

I was looking for an alternative to rawhide that my dogs didn't chew up in a few minutes. I have found that the Nature Gnaws Paddywack sticks are long lasting and a healthy natural alternative. The pieces are random in thickness, width and length and after going through one bag I have learned what size and thickness will keep my dogs busy for a while. I have a pair of industrial scissors that I can carefully cut the wider sticks along the "grain" to divide them in half. These seem to be a bit more brittle than rawhide as I can hear my dog crunching on them but so far they are the best long-lasting alternative to rawhide that I have found. They are a bit pricey but not as much as other rawhide alternatives when you consider how long they keep your best buddies busy.

I like these, they are quite hard and do split up when dog chewing it, but seems safe and lasts quite awhile, maybe an hour.

PLEASE READ THESE RATINGS!!! These are horrible!!! They break into little pieces that feel like pieces of glass. I sat on of the little pieces and it almost actually pierced my leg!! Does this company actually believe I would give something like this to my dog? I'm lucky I found that before it caused problems. I just pray people will read these ratings and not purchase these.

Dogs love them but you need to be watching because of the choke hazard as with many chews like these.

The quality is great but wayyyyyyy too skinny of a treat. If you’re trying to keep your dog on a specific path to calories then maybe this is good. But this was too little to be used as treats, in my opinion.

The product is really great because it’s a long lasting chew. They are thick and it takes the dog time to gnaw through them. My dog loves these and I love giving her natural chews. The only problem I have is the packaging. As you can see by the photos, the packaging is torn in many places so I don’t know how fresh the product is when it arrives to me. The product is in no way damaged, and it could be that because the tendons are so thick and rigid that during shipping and handing, the product caused the tearing of the packaging. Luckily, Amazon had it in their shipping bag so it was somewhat protected. Still, I recommend these to anyone who has a dog as mine really enjoys these!

My little picky westie doesn't like to work for yak chew, bully sticks and anything that might take her more than 10 mins to do. she goes through rawhide and any other average chew within 5 mins. I had to get her things that lasts. Normally she hates even work on thing thats too tough, but she loves this. I guess the flavor is good, and it is long lasting but not frustrating. one piece lasts her 1-2 days. she will hide it somewhere then come back later. so far, no upset stomatch, no side effect, just 1 happy pup. i gotta stock up on this.
