Spring Notion Boys' Classic Fit Dress Suit Set

I am very pleasantly surprised that this suit looks much more expensive than it is! It looks well made and the material feels nice. I purchased this suit for my 13-year-old son, who hasn't hit his growth spurt yet and is at an awkward child-teen size. His shoulders are quite broad but his chest circumference is still small and his arms and legs are short. I chose a size 14 based on his shoulder width, which is 16 inches, since that cannot be hemmed. His sleeve length is 20 inches and waist is 30 inches. The size 14 jacket fits him perfectly in the shoulders and is not too big in the chest, but he has room to grow. The pants are a couple of inches long, but I can easily have them hemmed for now and then let out when he grows taller, which will probably be next month! The vest and tie that come with this suit are great and fit perfectly. The white shirt is serviceable but a bit thin, so if your child is planning to wear this shirt I would suggest having him wear a white undershirt with it. My son will be wearing a different cobalt blue shirt with his suit. I noticed some reviews that mentioned the tag on the jacket sleeve is difficult to remove. I also removed this tag, but I didn't have any trouble with carefully snipping the threads to remove the tag without damaging the jacket. It took me about five minutes, so you don't want to wait until you are walking out the door to go to an event to remove it. All in all, this was a great buy and I am very happy with the value for the price!

This is such a great suit for the price! Since my son was between sizes, I ordered both a 10 and a 12 and took advantage of the Prime Shipping and Free Returns. The Size 10 pants fit perfect, but the jacket and vest was a little to snug, so I went with the size 12 and the only thing with this size was the pants were a little bit long. I would not hesitate on buying from this seller again - EXCELLENT quality and very happy for the price. I can only imagine my son will want to wear this JUST for his confirmation/first communion but know I can probably sell this entire set for $25.00 and only be out $20.00. To buy each item separately or even just a pair of pants, shirt and tie - I would've probably paid $50+, so this is money well spent. Yes, the white dress shirt is a little on the "cheap" side, but I already had another on hand; still with the vest and jacket on, you wouldn't really notice the cheapness of this until you removed the 2 outer pieces. I purchased the black and white.

Bought this suit for my 11 year old who at the time was between a size 12 and a size 14. I bought the 14 and the fit is great. He is 5‘2“ and 88 pounds. Tall and thin. He still has some room to grow into it. The set came with pants, jacket, vest, tie, and a plain white dress shirt. It was perfect for him to dress up as Elwood with his friend (who was Jake) from The Blues Brothers movie. Didn’t cost me a fortune and I do believe he will wear it again with a different dress shirt for his next school dance. Was not a very heavy material and worked well for Halloween dance. If this had been for a more formal occasion, like a wedding, I would have opted for a more expensive and luxurious material, but this was a great for what we needed.

This suit overall fits well enough. The length of the pants is perfect but the waist is huge and there is no way to adjust it so I'm going to have to take them in a bit. The white shirt on the other hand could be a size bigger. My kiddo is pretty average size for his age (8)and typically wears an 8 in all clothes. For the price though we will make it all work especially since he will probably only wear this suit once and it seems like a good quality suit. The tie is great and super easy for him to use himself. He looked very handsome. The white undershirt was a size 8, but definitely fit more like a size 6 or seven so we ended up having to buy a separate white shirt.

My son looked so fly in his new suit on the cruise ship. Grown women stopped to look. Fits true to size, great quality. I’m about to order the navy suit for him for our next event.

I bought this suit for my son to wear it for a wedding out of state and then again this coming May for his communion…..and he even loved it! So well made and comfortable for him! He looked seriously handaome

Bought it for my son to use at a family wedding and figured he should have a suit handy now that he's getting older. The price was good considering that if you rent you're pretty much paying the same thing as owning this suit. At first I thought I would need to tailor it because it looked way too big when he first tried it on real quick but once he put everything together it fit perfect. He's growing so fast that he'll only wear this for maybe a year? If he needs to, but it did it's purpose and I must say not just because he's my son but he looked so handsome! ! The material was good, thin not too thick. Came with suit jacket, long sleeve white shirt, tie, pants and a vest. I believe it was a good investment.

I ordered 2 suits for my two boys. A 3T and a 7T. The 3T did not include a white shirt. The 7T did not include a white shirt or a tie.
