I was in the market for an everyday set of silverware. However, I wanted something that had some weight to it. I am so pleased with the Lianyu service that I purchased. First, the silverware is very attractive and could easily be used for more formal dinners. Second, the set is truly dishwasher safe. Each piece has gone through the wash cycle many times and come out without any spotting, pitting, or rusting. Most important to me, the pieces have a good weight and are very sturdy. All in all, this set from Lianyu is a truly a good purchase and could be in a much higher price range. Quality AND value win for me every time.

This set is heavy duty and a good price for 12 place settings. Every single piece was wrapped to prevent scratching. Nice shine and good weight. I bought this for Thanksgiving as I never have enough silverware. Arrived well boxed and on time, thank you.

Love the quality and look for such a reasonable price. Perfect size, ease of use and nice to hold. The assortment of the serving set is very convenient and useful to have.

My old silver ware seems to be disappearing so I had to order a 4 piece set. This set is just what I needed. It is very elegant and strong. It's kinda slick but I love it!

This is a very nice silverware that is heavy duty and feels great in your hands with an excellent weight that you’ll enjoy. No more bent knives, forks or spoons scooping frozen ice cream. The set is absolutely beautifully designed plain with no imprints on it and just polished stainless steel. The engineering is excellent and I found the knife particularly unique as its design works well as a butter knife but also with a more pointed end for cutlery that makes it good for point carving even for a steak having a serrated side of the knife. Best knife set I have ever purchased, beautiful, weighted and heavy-duty. I’m sure the longevity of this knife set will require I give it to my grandchildren. I really enjoy the knife set and its feel; it was a great purchase I highly recommend.

This set of flatwear was perfect for our needs. I tried to find a set that matched the ones I had but have not been able to. I thought these were close but not exact. I bought two sets to be sure i had matching sets. They are heavy and large enough for my husbands arthritic hands.

I returned these only because they were too fancy for my kitchen interior design. They are a nice, heavy weight and are beautifully polished to a mirrored finish. (I really wanted to keep them) . If that’s what you are looking for in silverware for a great price, you should definitely buy these! Durability wise, I do not know because I never used them or put them through the dishwasher. But I could only think this quality of place settings would last a lifetime.

I bought a cheaper version of this set on Amazon, took the fork out and tried to bend it. If I can bend it, I won't be happy with the set and always regret my purchase. So I sent that one back. Got this set, and it's really sturdy. You can run these over with a tank, and they won't bend (metaphorically speaking...you should know I don't own a tank). The shine is still there after multiple uses. My ONLY criticism of this set is the end (opposite end of where you eat) is sharp on the forks and big spoons. I don't know why this would be. And the edges are not sharp enough to cut your fingers with regular use, but you do have to be careful. Overall, this is a solid purchase for $20/$40/$60 (whatever volume you've chosen), and if you want durable, this is the set. If this was at all helpful, please click the button.

I wanted heavy weight cutlery and this set is that - every bit of the way. It is substantial and feels like restaurant heavy weights! It is modern and attractive - simple design with clean lines - I really love these two elements of the flatware. However, it is sort of dull greyish silver and it always has water spots regardless of how carefully I handle it. I am sorry to say that It does not look like high quality cutlery to me. Next time I’ll spend the extra $$ to get the heavier weight and quality finish. I am going to donate this set to the office kitchen for their use and get something else.

Das Besteck macht einen wertigen soliden Eindruck. Macht optisch was her. Die Größe, also das Verhältnis von Nutzteil und Griff, ist jedenfalls für mich perfekt. Von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Do not buy. After only 3 months the knives had large rust spots that do not come off and the knife handle ends are nasty sharp. The forks and spoons also rusted. Now I am out the purchase price because there is no warranty and I disposed of the original packaging. Choked I have to buy another set of table ware.

Liked all the utensils. Well worth the money. A definite recommend.
