Work Much Better Than You Might Expect
Don't be fooled by the looks, these things work well. I was very suspicious of them when I opened the package and even more so when I installed them on my 2 HP 24f monitors. Now that they are mounted, it's obvious they are well thought out and the design makes the most of what little HP gave them to work with.

Very effective product to add VESA mounting to an unsupported monitor
I have a number of HP monitors, and unfortunately none of them contain a VESA mount. It is fortunate then, that a company has manufactured adapters to allow these monitors to be mounted on a monitor arm.Of all the available options, HumanCentric seemed to be the most legitimate. The hardware kit itself well-made with the primary component being made of solid metal. The instructions are relatively clear but lacks detail as it is just a series of diagrams. Additionally, it should be stated that the stabilizer must be installed before mounting the primary mount onto the monitor. Otherwise, installation was straightforward and should take under 10 minutes.I mounted the monitor to the monitor arm easily and it looks more or less pretty stable. I would still use caution when exerting too much force, however, because again, it is only an adapter and it is only mounted to the monitor with two tiny screws. A real VESA mount attaches directly to the rear of the monitor and provides much more structural support. For example, I would adjust the tilt only by holding onto the actual monitor arm itself, otherwise there is risk of breaking the mount.

Wonderful product...instructions need help
This adapter solved my problem with my non-VESA monitors. I tried a different adapter first, with dismal results. I then found this one and I am so very glad I did! The adapter mount went on easily and with a lot less fuss and bother than the other one. My monitors are now sitting pretty up high and closer to me for work. Here is where I do not give Humancentric 5 stars. You receive a bag of screws, which all look approximately the same size. But there are two screws that are just the smallest bit, well, smaller, and they are what you need to use to attach the mount to your screen. Just saying "small screws" would have been of IMMENSE help. Secondly, the stabilizer doesn't seem to work as well as I'd like, and is in fact, pretty useless.Overall, this is an excellent product for people with HP monitors!

Exactly what I needed!
These worked perfectly on my two 24f HP Monitors. I was able to use these to mount them to a 3 monitor stand for my desk and they seem very sturdy and stable. Make sure you read the instructions so you know the correct placement when screwing it on to your monitor.

Great VESA mount adapter for 27f
When buying two HP 27f's for my prospective 2-monitor setup I knew I'm on my way to complicate things. Because I already had an HP 23er which was an example of a mount HP unfortunately went for in the past few years. But a BF deal was there on the HP website and I pulled the trigger. The 2 monitors were destined to work in concert with a dual monitor desk stand. After reading reviews of competitors and spotting problems here and there, I chose to go with an adapter from HumanCentric, and with the "butterfly" version of it.Honestly, I was expecting numerous problems, but *everything* went fine. Screw holes are positioned perfectly. All edges are safely machined. The adapter is stiff enough to stay straight under 27f's load. It does not bend under tilt adjustments or moving the arms around. I should say I even did not take the "stabilizer bolts" out of the packaging. As a side note, before screwing the adapter on a monitor make sure to adjust the prong angle so it touches the adapter fully. So I still think 20 bucks is a bit too expensive for a piece of sheet metal with a couple of screws, but that's the price level we all have now for this type of goods. The product itself is perfect.

Great for vesa arm and more stable...
For any one that has the HP monitor, they know the stand really stinks. Love the monitor, hate the stand, just so flimsy, the monitor moves around so easy.Wasn't sure this was help, was skeptical, but I have to say, with the upper brace it does make a difference. Not only was I able to put the monitor on a arm, but it's stiffer than it was. Of course, not perfectly stiff, but it is much better.Assembly was not bad at all, just follow the directions and you'll have it set up in no time. Not only a great solution for mounting this monitor, but also makes it more steady.Very happy with this device, works great, and would happily recommend.

Caused monitor failure
Mount caused my panel to fail.Installation was fine and I was worried about the initial design - with a tension rod behind the thinnest part of the panel. Well my concerns are validated. Upon install everything was fine. Than I started adjusting the position while seated, and suddenly this vertical discoloration appeared. It would come and go by simply moving the monitor but now it's there... Forever.Buyer beware. Probably best to simply buy a monitor with a VESA and designed for mounting instead of converting it and possibly losing a working panel.
