Anti-Static Microfiber Cloth, 10x18-Inch Tiger Cloth

Got this specifically to 'clean' off negatives before scanning them. Wanted a cloth that would grab the dust and not be affected by static cling, or impart a 'charge' to the negatives or the scanner itself. It works like a charm! Wipes the dust away and the dust doesn't immediately 'cling' back to the surfaces due to static. Give your negatives a quick wipe with the soft cloth and you're ready to go.

This product works great! With the cleaning solution I bought, it helped return my film to great condition. The only problem is, it's hard to clean itself. For that matter, once the cloth gets good and saturated with the grime on your reels, don't expect to be able to use it anymore. It lasts about two 7-inch 8mm reels.

I use this to eliminate dust from my flat bed scanner and it does a very good job collecting the dust. Although I do have a very good dust cover as soon as I open it up dust collects on the glass. A blower seems to make things worse as the dust particles settle back on the glass, so I happy the way this cloth performs.

Seem to work well and I have long been a fan of microfiber for cleaning expensive surfaces. Very satisfied.

Bough this for wiping down film negatives before for printing pictures works great for that.

The cloth works as it should, but it leaves an awful lot of small orange residues once you use it. I would suggest you buying the Ilford cloth, that one hasn't given me any trouble.

This is not the original thin, silky feeling Tiger Cloth. I'm giving it 5 stars because the original is excellent.I talked with tech support and they said I was right that this model was thicker and heavier. Tech support said they had so many complaints that they were reverting back to the original cloth specifications. I used the cloth today and it shed microfibers profusely, which made it totally useless for cleaning my camera lens. I'm going to try and wash it and use it again, but I do not like the soft, thick feeling it has. For one, it doesn't compress like the original and takes up more space. Two, it feels like a towel, not a lens cloth.At the time of this writing, the original Tiger Cloth should be in stock, but make sure before you buy. Note that the original Tiger Cloth is about the best lens cleaning cloth you can buy.

I purchased this cloth for a glass table that seems to collect dust very quickly. I found that I could keep this handy and wipe the table as needed. Being anti static it did a good job of removing the dust without adding a static charge to the glass.
