Saved the trip
I was camped when the water hose froze one night, which also cracked the factory inlet on my camper. I ordered this and had it delivered a few days later to the RV park where I was staying. It was easy to install and it’s much better quality than my factory inlet, which was all plastic. I highly recommend it, even as a precautionary measure if you have a plastic inlet.

Perfect replacement on Winnebago Minnie
The check-valve on my 2003 Minnie got busted by some idiot who was digging around in there with a screwdriver. Luckily that idiot has an Amazon Prime account and found this replacement. Flange is aluminum, body is brass, and both the plastic knob and integrated filter screen are upgrades from the Winnebago original. Aforementioned idiot was able to install this with no problem, though I...I mean HE...did buy 3 new stainless screws to replace the 2 old ones from the original. Three is better than two. Applied a thick bead of ProFlex RV sealant to the back side of the flange and screwed it down. Works a treat and no water splooshing out of the city flange when using the pump. White color looks better than the old bare aluminum...like icing on the cake.

Great replacement!
*UPDATE*I learned to not overtighten the hose to this inlet - just tighten it by hand - so it doesn't leak. Moving to 5 stars. Looks good, no leaks.Installed in minutes and no leaks - at first. I hook up and unhook once a week. It took about three or four times of doing that before it started leaking. But... I think it may be my fault as I have a tendency to overtighten. I'm going to order a new one and see how it performs - I may have compressed the washer too much, I guess we'll see. If it lasts for a while I'll update here.

Good replacement for original flange
Fit perfectly to replace the original plastic flange that broke, but it makes a noise. It's not horrible, just a little annoying at times.

Very solid brass water flange
This is a really solid RV water flange. You can rarely tell how good something is online, but this puppy is solid brass fitting - heavy and will last forever. The plastic thumbwheel on it works great to help snug up and then loosen your water hose. Very please with it.

Good for as cheap as it is
I live in an RV and I used this as a replacement to my old inlet that became brittle in cold weather and resulted in the hose threads snapping off. It froze once after installation, and the hose washer froze to the end of my hose. It ripped out of the inlet as I removed the hose. This caused the small grille to partially detach from the washer (they are one piece). I should've thawed my inlet before trying to remove the hose, so that was my fault. Even after that incident, this inlet does not leak at all, and I'm still using the washer it came with after ripping the screen/grille the rest of the way off. Don't need it anyway.

Too shallow of a hose bib fitting-Makes an aweful noise when watter is turned on.
You get what you pay for... The inner pressure nipple makes one heck of an annoying sound and our customer complained about it. The installer said the twist fitting is way too shallow and after looking at it myself we pulled it out and picked up another more superior product for just a couple of bucks more.Customer Happy!Keep looking, you can do better than this cheap knockoff replacement.

Good quality replacement for original factory part.
If you're shopping for one of these, you probably wrecked the one in your RV when winterizing it. Read on and I'll tell you how to avoid doing this in the future.First off, this is OEM quality. It has a solid brass body and metal mounting flange. Much better than the cheaper plastic body valves you also see on Amazon. The outer mounting flange size and hole placement made it an exact drop in replacement for the original B&B valve on my RV.OK so how do you avoid destroying your intake valve when winterizing? Make this the last thing you do when running plumbing antifreeze through your water system. First, make sure your water pump is OFF! Next, open a tap (kitchen sink, bathroom - it doesn't mater) and let fluid flow out until almost all pressure is gone. Now you can safely pop the screen off your intake valve and push the white button until the fluid dribbles out pink. The valve was never designed to be opened when there is pressure inside your RV's water system. If you do open it under pressure, the rubber "O" ring will likely blow off the valve body and jam the valve open!

Works as it should
I had to put Teflon tape on the inside threads. Once I did that it works great. No leaks.

Great value
As described with the following note: the actual check valve material is plastic, the body is brass. I have installed it and so far it has functioned properly. A great value as the RV parts stores in Calgary charge $50 or more for this same part.
