These pens are super nice! I needed something ink-y but also with a fine point for taking notes in my college classes, and these were the pens I decided to get. I would have given them five stars, but I ran into a few problems with them:1) they are not waterproof. I like to paint a lot of watercolor, so I drew a design with these pens and I wanted to paint over it. However, the ink bled all over the paper causing my painting to turn black and the lines were all blurry.2) they leave lots of ink dots. Personally, I don't really mind the dots because I think it gives the paper character, but when I take several pages of notes with these pens in class, the pen will randomly "spurt" our ink dots. This could be a very big problem for someone trying to write something neatly or very small.3) The caps sometimes fall of when I have the pens in my backpack.Besides for those cons, these pens are actually very nice and I would happily use them. However next time I order pens I might go with something more traditional like Inkjoy or Papermate

I love marker type pens because I don't have to put so much pressure down when trying to get a clean line as I would normally do a regular black ball point pen. Sometimes when using marker pens, the tip tends to get messed up after some time, but the tips of these marker type pens last until the ink runs. Plus, you get a lot of usage per pen.I especially love using these pens for outline drawings or making notes for school.They come in handy and you get a lot for the price!

As an art teacher, I go through a bunch of black markers. I had been looking to find something to use in my classes that was cheaper and better than Sharpies since those aren't good for drawing over paint and similar materials. These are my new pens of choice. While they may not be permanent, they flow well and do not bleed. Monami pens also mark on a bunch of different types of surfaces and don't stop working or skip on paintings. My art students also love drawing with these. I highly recommend them.

1. I received all 12 pens in the pack and the order arrived on time.2. The pens are very light-weight. The pen stroke is light as a feather. Each pen stroke provides a thin, elegant style for cursive writing.3. The ink does not leak through the paper. The ink is very dark or deep black and easy to use for everyday office signatures, to take notes, writing in a diary/journal, or for craft projects.4. These pens are exactly what I was expecting for, to have a classic writing experience for my journaling.The sample cursive writing (last photo) is very nice, using these pens.I definitely do recommend this pack of pens.

I... I can't believe how amazing these pens are. I just honestly can't fathom that it was a cheap box of pens that surpassed what I've paid a lot of money trying to find. I love felt-tips, up until these guys, the double-ended ones from Daiso (another cheap venue) had been my Gold Standard. I love pens that have a scratchy feel I can muck around in but that deliver a reliable, constant flow of ink. Especially if they're thin-tipped, but the issue is most of them dry out immediately, spill out TOO much ink too quickly, or just don't have that textural sensation when you draw with them. These hit the nail on the head. I've been doodling with one for quite a while straight and it did not dry out-- Definitely buy these. Don't even hesitate.

I've fallen hard into the world of Zentangle and pen/ink drawing. These are excellent pens for drawing, sketching, doodling, and writing. Definitely going to be purchasing again. Does not readily bleed through papers and dries almost instantaneously for reduced smudging. I've even handed out a few from my first box for others to try. Everyone loves how smooth they write.

I bought these pens for my art students to do zentangles with and these are the BEST! 500 of my students (2nd -8th grade) were able to complete a zentangle project with these pens with only three pen casualties (a special needs student crushed one of the tips, a student left a lid off over the weekend and the third was probably a "rage quit" situation where a kid smooshed the tip out of frustration with their project. These pens dry fast, don't smudge, are suuuper smooth and my art students love using them! I will definitely buy them again ( if these ever die, they show no sign of it yet! )

The pen is very narrow which makes it kind of hard to hold if you're using it for artwork. Point is a little too stiff which creates a very high degree of friction against your paper. Sometimes it feels more like etching/engraving than drawing. I'd be happier if they lasted a little longer too. Ink is vibrant and won't bleed through though, even on very thin newsprint pads.
