Great HDD with some fast transfer speeds. However expect whilst using it on the series X to still transfer between HDD and console. I thought it would work along side the internal but I was wrong. Still Great design and looks nice

I like this product, not particularly picky as it was new with valid subscriptions. My favourite thing about it is the colour scheme to match the console models in black or white. This storage solution can be formatted for games and media on any Xbox One console with no special requirements. It comes in various sizes also on a budget and value for money, will be dependent on other Western Digital Game Drives in your basket to compare, as I discovered this one at a later stage on a different product page! There are complaints about it not being future proof enough for the next consoles in terms of transfer speeds below 5GB/s with USB 3.0. It also uses a proprietary version of the micro USB standard that has a wider connection but is not as common in place of the Type C connection. I chose to buy nevertheless for my collection of games and transferred all my content, as default. It does bother me that for compatibility with newer consoles with the exception of Windows Core OS features it may prove a challenge to appreciate. As the point of backwards compatibility in Xbox One, series X may require a format to continue to function, with older support algorithmic partitions. Hopefully that is not the case with software as a limit in 2020. I found no major problems with build quality although used to Aluminium it is tough and rests with rubber feet on the white plastic base material.

I was after a bigger HD as the one I have was to small. Came across this one, thought I would try it. And I am amazed on how easy it was to format and start using. Really really impressed.

Great size HD for gaming. Works fine on PC. The codes for XBOX Gamepass expired on 20/06/20, but Microsoft still accepted them, with an extra month free for turning on recurring billing.

Diese HDD arbeitet sehr gut und schnell mit der neuen XBOX zusammen, alle Daten oder Filme werden sauber und schnell übertragen. Filme werden ruckelfrei und synchron mit den originalen MS-Player wiedergegeben. Wenn die Festplatte nicht genutzt wird oder die Xbox ausgeschaltet wird, schaltet die Festplatte selbst in einem Stand-by-Modus und arbeitet nicht mehr, aber nur der Kontroller selbst ist noch aktiv und die helle weiße Led leuchtet immer. Am PC geht diese Led aber aus, nachdem der PC runtergefahren ist, also liegt es wahrscheinlich am Betriebssystem dieser Festplatte. Normalerweise sollte eigentlich, bei einer spezielle für die XBOX optimierte HDD auch der Kontroller nicht mehr in Betrieb sein, nach dem das System abgeschälten ist. Die weiße Led pulsiert nur schwach, wenn die Festplatte nicht arbeitet. Wenn die LED immer leuchtet ist die HDD aktiv, was zu hören ist, wenn man ganz nah dran ist. Wieso der Kontroller sich nicht abschaltet konnte ich noch nicht herausfinden. Bei meiner anderen, bei Amazon gekauften 5 Tb HDD schaldet auch der Kontroller nach abschalten der Konsole nach kurzer Zeit total ab und auch die Control – Led ist aus. Abgesehen von der noch leuchtenden Led, ist der Preis >Top<, da es noch 2 Monate XBOX Game Pass Ultimate umsonst dazu gibt und dieser würde ja auch schon etwas über 24 Euronen kosten. Mit einer Zusatzgarantie für nur 9,99 Euro ist diese Platte mit 5 Jahre Garantie gut abgesichert. Und in 5 Jahren, wer weiß das jetzt schon, gibt es wieder schnellere und bessere Speicher, wenn es da überhaupt noch die XBOX in dieser Form geben sollte.

Highly recommended, especially for those still playing their previous gen game catalogue on their consoles. Using this with my PS5 (preferred the dual tone white-black color that matches my console, over the all-black PlayStation version of this drive) without any issues. I use it to store & play PS4 games, leaving all the SSD storage for new-gen & native PS5 titles. The HDD came with an XBOX GAME PASS ULTIMATE code card (2 nos. - 1 month validity each), and they still work despite the box stating that you need to use it by Nov-2021. Just note that the codes won't work back-to-back as they're for new users. So you use one, let it expire and then use the next one.

però da notare che se viene archiviato un gioco ottimizzato per x|s non si può giocare ma bisogna spostarlo nella memoria interna a differenza di un gioc per One che ci si può giocare tranquillamente anche se è archiviato, ovviamente con l'hard disk collegato

One of the best xbox hardrive you can find, came with an xbox 2 month of game pass but only works for new accounts and I’ve been using it for 3 months now and it is working well without any issues, there is only one problem is that you can’t install x/s games on the hardrive but you can move them from the hardrive to the xbox internal storage. Best hardrive, I recommend buying it.
