I love this fireplace. It works flawlessly and has more features than I can count. With this fireplace we can change the color of the flame, the speed of the flame, the color of the embers. It comes with both glass beads or Driftwood as options. Personally, I use the logs that were standard. I think they look great. The app is easy to download, easy to set up and very easy to use. In fact, I don't use the remote control that came with it at all. I use strictly my phone. The app includes a timer. You can set it up to 8 hours and shut off. It also has a scheduler where you can schedule it to come on the same time everyday and shut off the same time everyday. It has a heat function and I tested all the functions and they all work perfectly. I linked it with Alexa so I don't need my phone or the remote to turn it on or off. I couldn't be happier with this fireplace.

This Elite line looks great with the wider window, and the more modern looking vents. Definitely worth the upgrade from the regular Sideline option. We looked for electric fireplaces in the local stores, and everything seemed outdated or overcomplicated to install... we found Touchstone online which has great features and reviews. Our contractor installed it, but the instructions were straightforward for them to do the rough in, hardwire it, and then make it part of the statement piece in our room. DIY installation is possible, but you definitely need to have above the average skills. Color options for the fire and media are great, with different brightness levels. Once you connect it via wifi you can see so many more options that with the standard RC. It can also be controlled by Alexa, which is a really good feature. Heat output hardwired is good enough. Delivery warning: it arrived 12 days earlier than Amazon's estimate, and the tracking option was delayed. Keep an eye on it as the courier was trying to offload the panel in front of our main garage door without us knowing. It arrives on a pallet, which will require 2 to move because of the size. Overall, we are very happy how this looks and performs. Definitely an option we recommend.

Great looking electric fireplace. Clean, sleek look with the black edging and tempered glass. Flame options are nice, quiet operation. A real accent to the new wall unit we had built. Customer support team is great and highly responsive. They helped walk me through how to check something that in the unit. Relatively easy to install, but because it is made to last, materials are heavier than other cheaper fireplaces. Should have a second person help lift into place and secure. Overall, very pleased with the purchase. Make certain to install app if you buy the WiFi enabled version. Easier to adjust settings.

We got the 60 inch elite version after looking at all the other competitors. This one looks best and super easy to mount. The remote could be a lot better (confusing icons), but once you set the colors you like, then you probably just use the remote to turn it on or off. I put my fireplace on a Insteon home control light switch so I can use voice control to turn it on and off, and program it to come on and off as desired. Note, these things are mostly for visual effect and add only marginal heat to a room. Our video is not rendering color of the log set properly. Looks MUCH better live and more natural, not so redish. To add some more details, the advertisement mentions the highest heat setting is 1500 Watts, yet we measured it to actually be about 1200 Watts (10 amps at 120VAC) in the highest setting, which actually I prefer to have the additional margin on a typical 15 amp circuit. I measured the Wattage of the visual effects, with heater off to be a surprisingly low 15-20 Watts for the LED lighting and flame effects motor combined. Thus, very little electricity cost when it is on for visual effects only. We also like the thinner border around the fireplace instead of some other models or other competitors with wide side frames. Of course this means you need to more accurately install tile around the fireplace since there will be only 1/2 inch overlap on each side of the frame. Although I would recommend having a contractor to install this unit, I will say I did all of the framing, tile work and installation by myself with no help, and I am an electronics engineer, not a contractor. It was easy and fun. I especially chose this model because it retains some settings when turning off the fireplace with a 120 VAC wall switch and later turning it back on. It remembers the flame speed, flame color, log set color, flame intensity and log set intensity. I never use the remote (just use the switch or Alexa voice control that I optionally installed). Lastly, we got fast and friendly support from the knowledgeable person when we called to ask a couple simple questions. The only other thing we would prefer that isn't in a lot of these types of fireplaces is an optional realistic sound effect of burning logs. Guessing that will be a future feature some day. We would buy this unit again. Nicely designed.

This fireplace looks good after installation. Instructions are pretty clear. This gets warm but not blazing hot which is a good and bad thing depending on your needs. The flame pattern is not super realistic but lets be honest, if you wanted real, you wouldnt be looking at electric

Very nice fireplace. Purchased this for a 3 season room. Haven’t used it much yet as the project is ongoing.

Super nice looking, built nice, easy to use. Not a lot of heat but it's in a bigger room. Want to get another for the bed room.
