I love this scope! This is a mid level scope in the sweet spot of performance/price. As you spend more you get less improvement in performance for each additional dollar spent. If you want to impress your friends, buy something else. If you want to have more money for ammunition, and hit your target, buy this one.

This is a great scope for the money, however, not holding up to my spring action air rifle and won't hold zero. Glass and adjustments are really good so I liked it enough to keep it and mounting on a .243 rifle. Like everyone else, I'm trying to find a scope that will hold up to the punishment of an air rifle bit this isn't it... next.

Hawke is well known there bright glass quality . I-mounted this Vantage 3x9x40mmAO on my new Vapor Max .177 caliber . Easy to zero in . Most of my airguns have Hawke scopes . Might be twice the price of most brands , but worth it. Pay once never be sorry later . Good value.

I mounted this scope on my Crossman Fire and once zeroed it is awesome! Hitting targets out to 100 ft with quarter grouping so far on a .177 7.4 grain pellets. The range focus and magnification are great. One tip, the objective bell is a good-sized diameter so buy high mounts, I initially tried mid height mounts, and the bell was pinned so tight to the rifle that it could not be adjusted, which you will definitely want to do when shooting a nearer and further distances.

OMG! All this time I thought it was the rifle and the pellets. I been using a Gamo Swarm Maxxim.22cal. I use 14.3g Premier pellets and was using a UTG Bug Buster scope. It worked fine for a few months, but any adjustments to the parallax or zooming moved the shot placement. Now it is no longer holding zero after about a year. After putting this Hawke scope on and cleaning my barrel with shooter Lube and spraying my tin of pellets with shooter lube. This thing is dead on. I sighted it at 35yds standing up. No mounts or sand bags. I got it close, but not perfect. Just a few minutes ago I shot down 2 pigeons. One at 60yds and one at 80yds on the first shot each. I had the parallax set at 75yds and zoom at 9x. Wow just wow.

The scope has a distance adjustment to eliminate parallax. This is an important adjustment unless you can reliably place you eye in the same position for each shot.

Sehr schönes Glas für mein altes Matchluftgewehr. Da es sich um einen Vorkomprimierer handelt, mach ich mir mangels Prellschlag keine Sorgen um das Hawke. Aufgelegt und mit 6-facher Vergrößerung ist Loch in Loch eher die Regel, als die Ausnahme auf 10 Meter. Ideal, um quasi kostenfrei für Großkaliber zu trainieren. Das Absehen ist wunderbar fein und es gibt ein sehr klares und relativ helles Bild. Der Name sorgt für etwas Vertrauen, was eine mögliche künftige Garantieleistung betrifft und insgesamt bin ich, auch bezogen auf den Preis, sehr zufrieden. Volle fünf Sterne von mir.

My scope was full of deep scratches inside the front glass and also very badly glued eyepiece rubber that was all lumpi with glue under it. Not used it once never again. It was kinda my first purchase on Amazon didn't knew how the refund or anything. I bought it in 2021.
