UV bulb replacement does not work brand new out the box! And this is supposed to be replacing the bulb that already failed after 1 month of use!! DO NOT BUY!

Love the product but much, much more expensive than the competition. 4-5X as expensive.

Good but didn't last as I expected.
The control of green algae blooms is very efective but I usually have to replace it twice a year. Doesn't last as much as I expected.

Don’t know if it’s working or not
I love these Green Killing Machines in the aquarium. I had one and there’s a little LED light on the power supply that lets you know the UV light is working. It had gone out, and the light is usually only good for about 9 months, and mine has been used almost 2 years so I got the replacement. I put it on (easy to install) and the LED still does not come on. I think it is working though because the algae growth I was having is more under control now.
