I use them at night and attach them to fishing lures (plastic and crank baits). I also use them at night on the top of larger floats (or bobbers). I'm 75.

Not exactly what I was expecting, but that's my fault for not reading the description better. Only used about 15-20 of them out the package but everyone of them worked well for what we needed them for. They glowed bright and lasted for at least 6-7 hours. Again they are tiny and so limited in usefulness, but if you have a need for mini-glowsticks these worked well for me.

I bought them for survival kits, I tested one, they work for like marking a location or maybe reading something up close, but your in no way going to light up a room.

WAY cheaper than buying 3 or 4 in the big box stores

Great for night fishing. Hubby is a big night fisherman and he has rod setups for these. Great packaging, price and no "duds". Went back and got more colors too. AAA+++!!!

I was underwhelmed.Although they are easy to spot (which may be their purpose), they offer little to no ambient light. Even with a handful grouped together, they provide little illumination. I suspect their modest output is due to their form factor -- small but still requiring a relatively thick wall for safety doesn't accomidate significant chemiluminescent medium.Other than for party favors or decoration, I'd stick with standard size glow sticks for most purposes.
