This network switch has been a great addition to my setup. Surprisingly, it was plug and play - it worked immediately—no app or advanced configuration was needed. I simply plugged in my devices, and it was up and running in just a couple of minutes.The design is modern, and the plastic feels sturdy, which suggests it is durable. In terms of performance, it doesn’t seem to affect my internet speed - even when multiple devices are connected.One thing to remember is that while it’s straightforward, it doesn't have some advanced features you might find in more expensive models, such as power management options. Although, it is silent as its fanless. However, for the price, it’s an effective, affordable choice for anyone needing a basic, reliable network switch. I would recommend it for mainly home users

TP-Link LS1005G 5-Port Wallmount Gigabit Ethernet SwitchI have a large metal TP Link ethernet switch in the loft so literally everything in the house apart from phones is on ethernet, all TV's, 2 PC's and 2 PS5's (I Hate WiFi), I bought this to put in my sons room so I could feed his TV, PC and PS5, it was easy to mount to the wall behind his TV and split off to the 3 devicesDon't get me wrong it works absolutely fine but my word when you take it out of the box and hold it in your hand it really gives you a sense of extreme cheapness, it's tiny and plastic and almost weightless, for what it needs to do it's fine but don't expect it to look or feel quality.

This Ethernet switch is a solid performer! It’s easy to set up, and all 5 ports work flawlessly for high-speed connections. No dropouts or lag, even with multiple devices connected. Great value for expanding your network! Highly recommended for home or office use.

I needed an additional switch for a short term network redesign before a full redesign later this year with a larger switch and patch panel so bought the cheapest gigabit switch on Amazon. £7.99 at the time.I see complaints about this switch in other reviews so lets start with the negative to get it out of the way.Negative- the switch feels cheap and plasticy. Feels like something from a Christmas cracker.- Status lights don't blink on activity, only static on connection. This may be a positive if the switch is not hidden but mine are hidden and I prefer status blinking for diagnosisThat is it for the negatives. Nothing deal breaking there for most peoplePositives- very small and compact- runs cold so no worries with heat- full gigabit ports - anyone saying speed issues should check their cables or QoS settings on their router. cat6a gives me no issues.- takes heavy throughput easily - I have a gaming / streaming PC, nas and server running several vm's connected to this which get simultaneously accessed by multiple devices on the network with no issuesPerformance is exactly the same as the netgear pro safe switches which I usually buy and have served me well for yearsSwitch is wired back to router so no issues. If you wire back to another switch before the router, you may see performance dropOverall very pleased with it and works perfectly until I swap this and my netgear switch for a managed enterpise switch later this yearMy other advice for home users is don't use the rubbish (usually yellow) Ethernet cable your internet provider gives you. Invest in some cat 6 or cat 6a. it makes a difference
