I own 20+ silk pillowcases, one in almost every color to match my various duvet sets. They were all purchased on Amazon, all for 21-26 dollars each.This is the only one I've bought under 20 bucks, and the only one I've had to return. I only bought it because I needed the terra cotta shade to match a fall duvet.Is this slick material? Yes. Is it shiny? Yes. Is it soft and silky? Not even a little bit. To me it feels like parachute fabric: slippery, with a sheen, but tough and even a little scratchy. Not remotely like my other silk pieces, and not even smooth like fake polyester satin. It's coarse.You get what you pay for. Ravmix, SLPBABY, Jimoo, Audubor, and Zimasilk all sell lovely genuine silk that I can highly recommend (I can vouch for solid colors only, not the prints). I've returned this and will steer clear of items priced so far below the average.

This is probably closer to cheap polyester satin. Anyone who has had real silk will know the difference immediately. Not impressed with false advertising.

I've been having issues with hair loss, partly due to pillowcases that are not good for my delicate, thin hair. I bought a "satin" pillowcase from WalMart & woke up after a few days finding lots of hair strands on my pillowcase. Bought this one after reading through many reviews & Its so soft & no hairs on it !!! So glad i went with this one, feels amazing when i lay my head down on it. Great value, especially for the price.

This is NOT silk!! They say it’s 100% silk and it also has a tag that it’s 100% silk but I am pretty sure that it is not a natural fiber. I washed it by mistake at power wash hot and nothing happened to it. It didn’t even loose color. If you wash real silk hot it will turn out differently. Plus: silk usually wrinkles easily when wet and then dried. This comes out of the washer totally straight.

I ordered black but they sent me navy blue.. (unless black silk actually just looks blue??). The only negative thing I can say if I'm being nit picky is that they're kind of on the thinner side, however not so thin to the point of transparency. I Can't complain, this was my first silk pillowcase purchase, so I'm not yet jaded by top quality high momme silk. For the price, this is a great product! I have yet to do a burn test to ensure authenticity of the silk, but I read a review from another buyer who had tested the fabric and it passed. I did substantial research prior to settling on these and I'm glad I did, it paid off and I'm undoubtedly satisfied!!! They look and feel great, they don't cause me to sweat and my head doesn't slip off of them however when I sit up sometimes they do tend to slip off of the bed easier than say cotton or linen pillowcases would. Love the zipper versus the envelope style, perfect fit for my king pillows, no pressure on seams-not too tight nor too baggy. Love them, your skin and hair will thank you.😊

It’s soft and the fabric feel cool. Very comfortable to sleep with and it also help reduce hair fall compare to the regular cotton pillow cases. I have purchased 3 different average silk pillow case but end up return the other 2 brands, and purchased 3 more of this.Just a recommendation it’s better to be hand wash if not put it in a laundry bag, and I just air dry mine instead of put it in the dryer.

I like this case and the color (light purple). It is nice and soft, it certainly seems like the real deal. I hand washed it and air dried it as I will continue to do through its lifetime.I have very fine hair which I use a particular night serum (not oily) on and a specific skin regimen. I decided if I'm spending so much money on these things, I should spend the money on something other than a cotton case and I am happy with my choice.Having been using the case for about 5 days I noticed that there is discoloration: darkness, in spots which I assume to be the products I use. Hyaluronic acid is the last thing I put on my face with at least 30 minutes to soak into my skin but it seems to soak into the fabric regardless.Overall my hair has improved, split ends are better and hair is shinier. Can't really attest to improvement in my skin as I just take creat care of it over-all but it is nice to know that I'm not sleeping on cotton.As for fit, the standard size accommodated my irregular-sized neck pillow which has to humps in it as well as the covering I keep over the pillow itself and zipped just fine.

Exquisite pillowcase! Soft as a cloud and so so comfy AND cooling- great for summer! But I think I’ll use it in the winter as well!😊 I love the zipper to ensure it never slips off the pillow! I was so happy with it, I ordered another one! And the color is soooo nice!😍 Exactly like the photo, which I honestly didn’t expect, based on past experiences! What a great buy for $16 bucks!! (I really hope they don’t raise the price🤞)😁😍❤️👍👍👍👍👍Who needs to spend $30 bucks or more(!) for a silk pillowcase when you have this available for half the price! I highly highly recommend this product!!
