Allows a TLR-2G to work with a pressure switch on a long gun.
This device allows a TLR-2G laser and light to function on a long gun. This device is somewhat difficult to install but once installed is dependable and durable. A TLR-2G with remote door switch and pressure switch is fairly expensive compared to other systems. I have been using this system on long guns for several years and feel it is worth the money. The laser maintains zero and the remote door and pressure work every time.

So Far so Good
Like the green laser dot. The strobe feature works well and was mounted to my Benelli M4. Cant respond to the durability as I have not fired the gun yet but my assumption is that the his light can handle the recoil on a repetitive basis.

Superior quality at a reasonable price. Easy to install.
I received this remote door/switch in new condition and in original packaging. First, using a 1/8" punch or smaller, I removed the stainless steel pin that holds the battery door in place on my Streamlight TLR-1s. After removing the pin, the original ambi-lever door used to mount on a pistol is free to remove. I set that aside and kept for later in case I want to use the light on my pistol again. I then held the remote door/switch in place and slid the pin back into place. I then closed the door and plugged in the male connecter of the remote switch pad into the female connecter on the remote door I just installed. Once connected, the switch allows me to toggle my light on and off with a moderate touch, and also allows me to use the strobe function by tapping once and holding on the second compression. With this remote door, it also allows me to have a constant on option by toggling the single lever with my index finger. This door seals the battery compartment well to maintain water resistant tightness and keep the battery from getting wet. This is not my first door/switch/light combination to purchase, and it won't be my last. I am very pleased with the superior craftsmanship Streamlight offers with the reasonable price and overall value. I have not noticed any disadvantage compared to my Surefire Scout weapon mounted light/remote switch. This quality door is exactly what I wanted and expected from Streamlight, and I couldn't be more satisfied with it.

Nice, But a Difficult Installation
As with all Streamlight products, this is a well made and nice addition to my PL-2. The pin used to lock the new door switch must be removed from the old door and inserted into the new door while passing over the a pivot tab on the PL-2. The pin retainers at each end that are molded into the door itself make this a tedious process. Had there been any instructions, the process might have been easier. My suggestion is for you to study the pieces carefully before removing the old door piece and then push (hard) the pin out with a needle nose pliers. The process of holding the PL-2 and the new door while trying to get the pin over the pivot tab and into the far hole is made difficult by the end stop not allowing the pin to align easily with the far hole. I finally managed after a half dozen attempts.

Awesome upgrade
Easy to install if you have any experience with models or weapons builds. If not but you pay attention should be smooth as butter. Great remote door. Never had a problem with it. Always works. As long as the batteries are good.

Perfect on tlr1 HL
This was perfect for tlr1 HL. Easy to put on, and works great with the pressure pad from streamlight as well.

Streamlight TLR-1 with pressure pad & rear door combo. **5**
I have searched & tried dozens of combination lights/mounts in the last several months for my ARs. Surefire is great but I refused to pay for "the name". I have (4) Streamlight TLR-1 lights on my Glocks. They are rock solid, blinding & don't break the bank. Due to my training, shooting style & mid-length rail, I'm somewhat limited...that is until I hit upon this switch assembly kit from Streamlight. Using the rail cover pressure pad installation, its mounted at 12:00 butted up to the front A post sight on my Midwest Ind Gen II SS FF rail. The light is mounted as far forward at 3:00 on a 3" rail section. I ran the coil thru the front post sight, plugged it into the rear door & I'm still grinning 3 hours later. The pressure coil is the key to the clean, no wire tie, perfect fit & finish. This combo from Amazon runs about $175 & is just as bright, clean & cool as my buddy's $400+ Surefire. Perfect. I ordered 3 more...

Works awesome. Disappointed the plug for the tail cap is so small and doesn't snap in and falls out easily. Can see it going missing because it doesn't want to stay in. That's the only gripe.

純正オプションなので当然かもしれませんが、TLR-1HLにて動作確認 純正スイッチとの付け替えも非常に簡単で、気密性もばっちり リモートスイッチも問題なく作動 間違いのない買い物です

▪️Well constructed, a good value.y ▪️Extends the functionality of your Steamlight TLR weapon light. ▪️Easily swapped out with the standard battery door. ▪️ I haven’t submerged the system nor have I used it in heavy rain conditions however the gaskets seem to be robust and rain should not affect use.

amazon is pointless, all these items must be b-roll throwaways. basically you're gambling on an item that may arrive defective (without you realizing unless you have already owned it, again the point?) and stop working a week out of the return period. no real savings to be had there. save yourself a HUGE future headache and buy from a retailer with a real return and warranty policy. 30 days is not enough to know your product, or leave a review for that matter. At the price and known reliability of streamlight, this should not happen. I thought the windage screw felt a tiny bit loose and should have returned it immediately. Sure enough, the windage suddenly stopped adjusting. Lifetime warranty and amazon just washes their hands, and worse the reps will toy with you until you threaten to out the whole operation, then, sure enough they let you "exceptionally" return, not exchange for a working item ( because they definitely can't guarantee there are any). This is rapidly turning into another e-bay. I have the chat logs to prove all of this. Here's hoping I don't get ghosted.
