I bought a similar product for my in-laws but I always wanted something like this for my garage. I liked the ones I bought previously but they were no longer on sale & I needed these ASAP. I have two single-car garages so I knew I needed a bunch. I also needed them to be wet-rated as the garages are located below another unit & I'd rather be safe than sorry. Additionally, 2 of the 6 lights would be located above the bay door when open, so it needed to be LED or something that wouldn't get hot, basically. Anyways, this essentially checked all of the boxes. However, a few things between the previous company lights & personal experience: 1) they don't come with a template which I was hoping to use to estimate placement on the ceiling BEFORE cutting holes. 2) doesn't come with strain reliefs or even mention needing them, which they are a MUST. Once you knock-out the metal tab to insert your wire (I used 14/2), you MUST use a strain relief to keep the wires from pulling out of the junction box (j-box) & to prevent the metal housing from cutting into your Romex wire sheathing. 3) I much preferred the quick connects used by the other company rather than using wire nuts. Additionally, I was running these lights in sequence (daisy chain) and the wire nuts were NOT large enough to house 3 sets of wires, so I had to provide my own. 4) the light face is slightly yellow compared to the other company. Hard to notice when up in the ceiling but def noticed out of the box (see photo). All in all, I'd still buy these again but prefer the other company due to the aforementioned points. If they added those items to their lights, they'd surely get 5 of 5 stars!

The positives: thin enough for my 3/8" ceiling. Nice design with a large slightly recessed lens gives it a better look compared to other led lights found on amazon. The big negative: a few years ago I upgraded to Lutron Maestro touch dimmers for leds. They worked very well with a gradual brightening and dimming of the previous lights that were installed. I have used these on many different leds and it always prevents any flickering issues. After all, they are designed for leds. These lights are compatible with Triac dimmers. The manufacturer includes a list that they have tested. The Lutron Maestro was not on the list but it is also a Triac based dimmers. On the Maestro switch, these lights flash brightly once, then slowly brighten. I'm frustrated because these dimmers are $60 each. To replace the dimmers with one of the standard slide dimmers (hideous) the manufacturer specifies would mean I'm throwing away $360 worth of newer dimmers and buying $240 worth of new ugly dimmers to operate less than $100 worth of lights.

Installed in my basement drop ceiling tile. Very nice and super quick install. I need to order more soon!

The light were very easy to install and are very bright. We have just renovated our entire home and have installed over 40 lights and they have been working great so far. Out of the 48 lights I purchased only one did not work correctly. Other than that they are great.

You have to cut a 6 inch hole to mount these I would highly recommend buying the hole saw I mounted 3 and hung it up till I get a saw. It’s a nice clean light really brightened up our bathroom.

Amazing we replace our old recessed lights & our kitchen lit up like daylight. I love that I can work anywhere in the kitchen with great light. Don’t need any task lighting at all!
