LED Premium Frosted Globe G120 Light Bulb [E27 Edison Screw] 10.5W - 100W Equivalent, Warm White (2700K)

A beautiful bulb with a soft warm glow. The frosted glass diffuses light evenly, making it perfect for decorative fixtures or open sockets. Adds a nice vintage feel without being too bright or too dim.

It is ideal.

I bought this to replace the globe bulb in my Philips Nehru pendant light. I wanted something brighter than the one I had (60 w equivalent) but didn't appreciate how bright it would be. It looks great but it slightly ruined by the fact that there is printing on the bottom of the bulb. The pendant is clear glass; the original Philips bulb had no printing on the bottom (and the photos on the product page don't show this) so each time you look up you can see it. There seems no good reason for it to be in a position where it's visible.

Brighter than i thought

Works well but is very large. Protrudes above shade. Probably made for an exposed use.

Wish they were available a bit brighter

It certainly looks the part, however it has a few annoyances. The bulb is bright, however non-uniform, there is a noticable dark spot at the top of the bulb, where the printing is on the glass. This ruins the effect of such a large bulb for me. Likewise, the "temperature" is rated at 2700K, however other Philips bulbs I have are rated similarly yet produce a much more warm and pleasing light. This bulb is more akin to 4000K then the advertised 2700K. And finally, it buzzes. Not loud enough to make me return it, but loud enough to hear over my breathing and the ticking of the clock. Quieter then a fluorescent, but still not a pleasant sound. Perhaps I have recieved a faulty bulb, but as with most LED bulbs I can't quite tell. I will return if it fails in the next few weeks, otherwise I fear this is characteristic of the rest of this type.
