Waterproof Mattress Protector 200 x 220 cm by Dreamzie (Made in EU and OEKO TEX) - Mattress Protector 28cm Deep (6ft 6" x 7ft 3" 4)

Bought this for my toddler who is just moving into a big bed and potty training. It was easy to put on and worked effectively with our deep mattress too. Not cheap at £22- we saw cheaper ones available, but so glad we paid a bit extra as this was great. It was put to the test on the first night and the mattress remained completely dry. Was able to machine wash it and have it back on the bed that night, where it was just as effective on night two! I was was worried it might rustle (being a waterproof sheet,) but it’s actually really good. It has a soft fabric feel on the surface with a waterproof coating on the back. The only downside would be that if there is an ‘accident’ then you have to wash it in the machine- you can’t just wipe it clean. Otherwise I’m really pleased with the quality and how it lives up to the job. Would definitely buy again & recommend to others.

Ours was right size (UK King), and it didn't really have a bad odour as many seem to report here in reviews. Although our new foam mattress was gassing off at the time so that may have hid any odour this gave off. Most importantly this seems to do a very good job at preventing small amounts of liquid from getting through it to the bed below. It's not going to hold a large amount of liquid at bay for very long, but for small dribbles or spills it works a treat. Have had a few liquid incidents, and I also tend to sweat a lot when sleeping which can stain a mattress or mattress cover. It has stopped that problem completely so all we have to launder is this water resistant cover and we're good to go. This means a lot to us, because a UK King 16" thick foam mattress is a heavy monster to handle, and our allergenic type mattress cover which zips tight over it is thus a bear to get on/off. With this water resistant cover which slips on/off like a fitted sheet we will likely never have to launder the allergenic cover thank goodness! They might do better to stop calling it waterproof based on what I'm seeing in the reviews. Seems it makes people believe it will hold water like a bathtub or something. However, as stated, it indeed stopped all the small amounts of liquid we've spilled from getting through it. I'd think that even with a child wetting the bed it would keep the liquid from reaching the bed unless the kid had a very large bladder and emptied the whole thing.

The protector fits nicely on the bed and is not crinkly or noisy. It is on the thin side, and the top is a terry towling kind of material. It is actually 150x200, ie normal king size, not 150x190 as the description says.

I washed the mattress protector first as instructed by the manufacturer and the company, it does take a while to dry, but well worth the wait. It does not make any crinkling noises or other rustling sounds, and does not make you sweat in the night, ( in fact very comfortable,) Tip for future buyers, :- If you want to test the cover for the waterproof effectiveness, i suggest you lay it over a table with a towel underneath and tip a glass of water on it, ( i could of done this but didn't think at the time,) i haven't had any accidents so far, but i'm confident it will be fine. The company are very helpful giving advice and making sure you are happy. An excellent product and would highly recommend. I will put my theory to the test when it needs washing, and give an update. Up-date:- I put my theory to the test, ( having just bought a brand new expensive mattress, i cannot take any chances,) I did exactly what i explained, extended my table, put a towel on it, and tipped a pint and a half of water on it, left it for nearly two hours, with some weight on it, checked the towel, bone dry.... Now i am completely confident my mattress will be protected.

Bought the UK DOUBLE 135x190. Comfortable, soft and fits my standard double 4ft 6 mattress perfectly. Cannot comment on the waterproof qualities, and at 47 years old, am hoping I don't need to for a few years yet!! I now need to remove and wash, (received today), as recommended, because there is a faint 'plastic' odour. Not too bad, and probably would not be noticed if aired for couple of days. But will cool wash and drip dry as recommended, and hopefully will give many years service.

Bought this to protect a new 'hybrid' mattress (which is amazing and deserved to be protected by the best!) and have been delighted with this. Much more substantial than any previous mattress-protectors I've bought, deep enough on the sides to fully protect the new mattress (which is much deeper than its predecessor was). Although the top of the protector is also thicker than others I've bought, that doesn't make it bulky or cause it to interfere with a fitted sheet, or to be noticeable. Even the moisture-proof underside (which I thought might feel like plastic) is pleasant to the touch and, once the protector is in place, totally unnoticeable. This really feels like a premium product ... Although it's hard to tell if the improved comfort or more restful sleep is due to the mattress or the protector, but together they are amazing! Highly recommended.

I bought this matress protector on the strength of previous positive reviews. And I was not disappointed. I ordered this late yesterday afternoon and it was delivered to my home this morning. The sheet type protector is a very well made item which washed well; the manufacture’s guide suggests washing the item prior to use. This made the already soft cotton covering even softer. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is no noisy rustling with this sheet. Just a comfy, well fitting and well made protector. 😄

Der Dreamzie Matratzenschoner in der Größe 180x200 cm hat mich voll überzeugt und verdient 5 Sterne. Er schützt die Matratze zuverlässig vor Schmutz, Schweiß und Abnutzung, was gerade bei größeren und teureren Matratzen sehr wichtig ist. Seit ich ihn benutze, habe ich ein gutes Gefühl, dass die Matratze länger hygienisch und in gutem Zustand bleibt. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass der Matratzenschoner absolut geräuschlos ist. Es knistert nichts, wenn man sich bewegt, und der Schlafkomfort bleibt vollständig erhalten. Das Material fühlt sich angenehm weich an, ist atmungsaktiv und sorgt dafür, dass man weder schwitzt noch das Gefühl hat, auf Plastik zu liegen. Die Passform ist ebenfalls top: Mit dem Rundumgummi sitzt der Schoner fest auf der Matratze, verrutscht nicht und bleibt auch nach mehreren Nächten glatt. Er lässt sich einfach aufziehen, abnehmen und problemlos in der Waschmaschine reinigen, ohne dass er seine Form verliert. Auch in Sachen Verarbeitung macht der Schoner einen hochwertigen Eindruck – die Nähte sind sauber, das Material robust und langlebig. Für mich stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vollkommen. Fazit: Ein sehr empfehlenswerter Matratzenschoner, der Komfort und Schutz perfekt miteinander verbindet. Wer seine Matratze langfristig hygienisch und sauber halten möchte, macht mit diesem Produkt nichts falsch.

This mattress protector is not waterproof at all. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, I bought two of them - they’re completely useless.

Ik vind het een fijn product omdat ik snel warm word in mijn slaap en kan zweten. Echter wel blij dat ik er 2 heb gekocht, want hij blijft lang nat na het wassen.
