Works perfect, it took a minute or two to connect to my 2019 iMac running Sequoia, but after that it ran and transferred files instantly from computer to Compact Flash card to Nikon D700 camera, like dragging and dropping into any other folder.

need a reader that can take CFexpress type B card, SD disk and micro sd card. And this one includes all of them. And the reader seems solid enough to take any kind of abuses. delivery is right on time too.

Includes two cables, one is USB-C and one is a regular USB ("USB-A"). Both cables are only a foot long though, which I find a little annoying. Here's the thing - they don't need to be longer, they just need to be EITHER longer or shorter.A one foot cable is a very annoying cable. It'll dangle off the edge of a small table/desk (or if you're using it on top of your lap), putting just a little constant stress on your port and putting it at risk of just getting knocked right out. If the cable was longer, you could wrap the whole thing back around the computer and prevent the dangle. If it was shorter (a stick maybe, instead of a cable), it would support its own weight with a more rigid interior. The short cable is silly.Aside from that, it's fine. Plug and play, works with all my devices, no transfer issues, etc.

My old CF card reader had become unusable. I looked in professional supply sources but could not find what I was looking for. Ordered this one and seems to work well.

As the team photographer I take a great many photographs at my son's high school lacrosse games. I have previously used a USB 2.0 SD card reader and would begin transfer of photos and walk away from my PC while the transfer proceeded.My PC has a USB 3.0 port so I decided to see what I could pick up on Amazon to speed up the process. After looking at several models I settled on this one. One of my considerations was a card reader with a longer cord (my USB 3.0 ports are on the back of the PC and I didn't want have to keep reaching behind the PC to plug in the SD card. This model solved that problem nicely.What about speed? Well, I didn't benchmark anything but I can tell you there is a noticeable speed-up in the transfer process. Now I can transfer files in very little time. This was totally worth the upgrade.Aesthetically, the unit looks nice with its aluminum finish. The case itself is plastic, but it looks like aluminum. A nice touch and really what I expected since this isn't an incredibly expensive product. There are other units out there with many more ports to choose from but this one satisfied my needs and I am happy with the purchase.

It arrives so fast after ordering it the night before. We were in the middle of the filming, with our cfasts all full, but we didn't have the reader to back them up. It worked perfectly!
