My 83 year-old friend has a little (5.5 lb) Chorkie, that's precious to her. They moved back to another state this week--riding in the moving truck. She knew she needed a way to carry the dog safely at stops along the way, since she uses a walker, and the dog, being a terrier/chihuahua mix, is always full of energy and wants to explore after a long ride. We tried a couple of sling-type carriers and this one was easily the best. The outside fabric is tough and waterproof. The inside is lined with soft material, and was roomy enough to add a small blanket, since the area is quite cold in the winter. The netting that draws the top closed to keep the animal confined safely when needed, is simple to close and the mesh is a soft fabric. (The dog will destroy it soon, of course, since she's chewed her way out of other box-type carriers--zippers are her passion--but then, nothing can withstand a terrier for long.) The carrier strap is wide and padded, and the length is adjustable; very comfortable and secure. There are two pockets; a slim one on the side for something like cash or ID, and a larger one, hanging at the front, that's suitable for a phone or keys. All of the features are well thought out, but what made the difference for me was the removable (cleanable) standing board on the bottom, to give the animal support. Constantly having to balance and move around to remain standing in the bag will make any animal feel insecure and irritable. Not something you want on long or short trips. The price of the sling carrier was a bit more than others you could buy, but the features and quality make this one a superior value.

I bought this pet sling so that my 7lb Chiweenie could be with me everywhere in the house because of how clingy he is. I bought the pink one and I believe the color is beautiful. It is a little more of a peach than a pink but I don't mind! After a few treats my Chiweenie absolutely loves it! The firm pad at the bottom helps him adjust and stay comfortable. I really like the drawstring mesh that closes around his neck to keep him safe in the sling. The sling also comes with a safety strap to connect to his harness or collar for extra protection. This sling has a padded adjustable strap that is very comfortable and fits well. I believe the price point is great for what you get. The sling seems very sturdy and easy to use. I recommend this beautiful sling to anyone looking for a way to carry their small (up to 9lb) pet around with them!

We’re very pleased with this pet sling!! It works great for our 7 lbs. kitten (she’s 7 months old). I ordered the one without the mesh net and had to return it because it didn’t feel like she was secure enough and could easily jump out, and she didn’t feel secure either which made her unhappy. This sling with the mesh is perfect for us!! We use a harness and secure her in the bag then tighten the mesh around her neck and she feels snug and secure, just as we’d hoped. Another great feature is the sturdy board on this sling model (as opposed to the first one we ordered, which didn’t have that either). The shoulder part is very comfy and well padded. I am able to carry it for a good distance and my husband who is more broad and bigger than I am can switch with me and feel comfortable as well. The construction of the sling and the pockets all feel very well constructed. Our cat is so happy to be able to go on outdoor adventures with us since she is an indoor kitty. It does attract hair and lint easily, but our cat is short haired so that helps, plus on a black bag, the hair can be seen more easily, but a quick sweep of the lint brush helps with that. All in all, this sling is a winner in our book and we highly recommend it. Of course, what works for one person may not work for another, but it definitely works great for our needs. Nice bag would have given it 5 stars but it didn't adjust as much as I would have liked it too, but besides that it is great.

I foster a lot of kittens and want to get them used to new environments so they don't get too settled in my quiet apartment. The backpacks, including the bubbles, are too cumbersome and hot if I'm actually hiking. This is adjustable, but I liked that I could have around my waist, as opposed to my hips. I want to be able to see, pet, & talk to the kitties. My latest foster, Opie (2 months old/1 1/2 pounds), loves hiking on my shoulder, but I wanted something I could put him into as he gets bigger. On our 1st hike, it rained, so this bag came in REALLY handy. Kept him warm and dry, while I got dripped on, hovering under some trees. It was nice to put my phone in the pocket to keep it dry too. It didn't seem too hot on the inside, and he was pretty darn comfortable when I cinched the mesh and he sort of just settled in and relaxed. This will also be a good to use when I have feral kittens and need to keep them with me to socialize them. I can have them with me hands-free, and they can get used to the world of humans. Time will tell how it holds up, but it worked as advertised.

Bag is good it is too deep for my 2-3 pound dog.

This is a good size for my chihuahua. He likes the hard bottom for comfort. I hope the mesh doesn't wrip. It is half way the bag itself. But does wrap around the dog. Other bags seem to be more bulky. It has nice rippers on the bottom compartment and one on the side. I put more cushion in the bottom compartment with a folded towl under the inclosed hard board surface. The pocket on the strap is cute, a phone will fit in it with other flat items.. Their is a zipper pocket on the backside will fit a leash or something..The strap is thick and adjustable. The bag has another small strap with a clip to attach the the dogs collar so she or he doesn't fall out. This strap isn't attached to the mesh, but inside the bag itself on a seam. A small baby blanket fits in it to. 😍 Better than the other ones Amazon rated top best sellers.

My dog hates it only used one time now I cant return and I am out of $$$

Item is great, my dog loves it. It is exactly like it looks in the ad, I use it to take her shopping and she sits or sleeps in there very comfortably. Very pleased with the product.

I purchased to use with my new dachshund puppy before he had received all his shots. It meant I could take him everywhere with me in the first couple of months. Easy to wash and he loved being in his pouch.

Love this bag. More importantly my Pomchi loves it and fits snuggly into it each time. He even gets excited everytime he sees it. Very easy to get him in and out of it as well.
