it's fine. I've tried a few amazon basics lab wate and it's pretty lack luster and easily broken. I bought the Eisco version of these and they are outstanding.

This is definitely a "get what you pay for" kind of thing. The clamp works okay, but it is definitely a cheap design. The wingnut gets stuck a lot.

Not a great clamp. Tightening mechanism is clunky and weak. The stand rod-arm thumb screw thing is good.
